Addison Chatham
15 | WCHB | Ravenclaw Class of '93 | 5th Year | 9 Addison is a hardworking but absentminded 5th year who has dreams of being a Healer, though his family and his financial status might not allow it. Unknown to him, he is the bastard son of the woman he considers his sister, Alice, and an unknown man. He tends to be a little forgetful and keeps a notebook of encounters with his peers as well as how to address them. Despite all his quirks, his family's lack of money, and his horrible dancing skills, Addison has made it considerably far and hopes to make it farther.

Friends: Likely fellow Ravenclaws and classmates. He's known throughout his peer group for his ability to know things, at least, schoolwise. Whether or not he remembers your name or has to go flipping through his notebook is a bit of a gamble. He used to live in the Slums of Hogsmeade, though recently has moved a bit closer to Pennyworth, so people from around that area might also be friends.

Romance: is not at the top of Addison's list. He's uncertain that he's very desirable compared to his peers, as someone who's working class and a little odd, not to mention that he wouldn't have the funds to support a family and his robes are rather shabby. Still, possibly good material for first crushes and awkwardness? I definitely want him to at least think about it.

Family: I've left his (grand)mother's side completely open, and the identity of his true father is also open. If you'd like to have a bastard that it is incredibly unlikely for you to meet, have Addison. Also wanted are his (grand)mother, (grand)father, and sister(mother).

Breccan MacRae
22 | WCPB | Hufflepuff Class of '86 | Ollivander's Hogsmeade Employee | 6 Breccan is a loyal and somewhat private shopworker in Hogsmeade, who attended Hogwarts for three years, then dropped out to let one of his many younger siblings get a chance. He started working in Hogsmeade in 1885 and has continued to do so.

Friends: People in similar situations, maybe former classmates if they remember him. He's truly loyal, as in, drop most things and go help out, though he is very private about his family life around most people. It's probably a running joke around friends that they don't know quite how many sisters he has. He's always got time for a good drink, though moderation is key (partially for ~responsible reasons and partially for financial reasons)

Romance: is something Breccan is considering mostly because he's around the same age his father was when he was born, though he's not sure he's properly ready for such a situation he welcomes at least giving it a solid try. Hurls for him could be WC/MC/UCAB women but are probably more likely to be WC than anything else, and as he's religious there would be some preference there.

Other: Breccan has more adoptable siblings as well as parents here, in Kelly's Adoptables (the MacRae family). It would also be cool to have more co-workers to interact with.

Christopher Basiltree
37 | WCMB | Gryffindor Class of '71 | Master of Ceremonies | 9 Baz, as most friends know him, is the Master of Ceremonies at the Hogsmeade Memorial Ballroom, which is a job he takes quite seriously. A former Gryffindor, he dropped out after his first year and began a long career in domestic service before eventually becoming Master of Ceremonies in 1886. His most notable traits are his impeccable manners and rather handsome face (both reasons why he was able to become such a successful footman).

Friends: Fellow former Slums residents, frequent ballroom attendees/event organizers who find his qualities endearing, people his mother might think are good ideas to speak with. He's a bit of a serious fellow, so he might be a good balance or voice of reason to anyone who would need that. He's also the type to overthink anything, so perhaps a few hundred owls about what's going on in the news isn't impossible for him.

Romance: is up in the air. Baz doesn't really think of himself as a ready to support a family, though he entirely is, at least, for a man of his social standing. His mother continues to meddle in his life, and recently he's been somehow stumbling into more women. Hurls ICly are preferable 20+ and WC/MC, though OOCly toss some men at him as well because he's bad at feelings.

Other: PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING BRING ME BAZ'S MUM. I would also like to see more ballroom employees!

Hi Bree!

Sounds like him and Cameron are a little opposites (because of the healer dream/possible inability to achieve it). If you want we could have a thread with them where Addison attempts to help him out? He'd be up for a little informal tutoring if Cameron would want the help. Plus other career discussion/existential teenager stuff?

I feel like Addison would look up to Justice because 1. older Ravenclaw, 2. able to be a NEWT student, 3. seems like a cool guy in general. He'd definitely cheer for the Ravenclaw team, maybe Justice could help out when Addison gets mixed up on dates for history? (maybe this is like an ongoing thing, like they started doing it years ago?)

For students I have Calla Potts who is a MC Hufflepuff in the year below him so they'd have shared classes the past two years! She is overly friendly and could literally talk a brick wall to death. Unless you murdered someone or some other grave offense, she does not care about class or blood or even really personality. Her grades aren't the best but they aren't horrible, but she is certainly far more of the jock, hands on type of person. They might be friendly, though how friendly would depend on Addison.

My other student is a first year Slytherin Linnet Umbernauld who probably would really find herself crossing paths with him but we might be able to find something.

My best match for you is one of my non-Ravenclaws. Edison Moony is a fellow, working class fifth year. He also lives in Pennyworth, Hogsmeade. He's incredibly nice and helpful and has friends in other houses. He's a perfect and the Dueling Club president. One of his best friends wants to become a healer, so he views such dreams positively. He wants to become and auror.

I also have Thomas Montgomery who is a 6th year Ravenclaw. He just achieved his dream of becoming an animagus and is now focusing on deciding on a career path. He's kind of grumpy toward certain people. He might be friendly toward Addison.

Archer Belby is a third year Ravenclaw disaster. He's interested in beings (werewolves, ghosts, vampires, etc.) He's scared of his own shadow. He'd probably be too terrified to talk to Addison, but he's there haha.

My only other student is Billie Farrow who is a first year who wants everyone to be her friend, but I don't think they'd run into each other.

If he takes Art, Sayid Weber is the instructor. As he's a fifth year, he is definitely in Transfiguration class which is taught by Tae-min Yi.

Milo Nox is a Hufflepuff that is in his year. Pretty friendly and known as a go-to source of advice and tutoring.

Addison might find Calla's more talkative qualities a bit annoying plus he isn't too sure on how to interact with "rich girls" i.e. anyone who isn't working class, but I think they could be friendly towards one another! I agree that I don't see him and Linnet interacting too much, unless she needs tutoring of some kind.

Hi Finn! Edison does seem like a really good match for Addison (they even sound alike! Maybe we could do something with that?) Addie is a more recent Pennyworth-er, moved there a year ago, so if you're into past threads maybe he got lost and wondered past Edison's house?

I can picture Addison getting on Thomas' bad side pretty easily, if you wanted a frenemy. He tends to not know when to shut up and can babble about rumors when he really isn't supposed to, but he would want to try to be friends with Thomas since they're in the same house and he does believe in all that house pride stuff. Sort-of same with Archer, it's possible they could talk about house stuff but not much else.

Art isn't really his style, but Transfiguration is more his bag, though he'd be furiously taking notes throughout his lessons and probably also ask "dumb questions" (for example asking something that was just stated).

As for the students I think him and Milo could be good friends! I've mentioned above that Addison is a big fan of the house pride stuff so he'd at least be supportive of Cane if nothing else :D

  

Hi! Saw your lonely plot and I've got a few options, thought throwing them here might be easier than PM ^_^

Walter Brownhill has a lot of experience in the Ministry & a mild amount of authority; he works in Magical Accidents & Catastrophes. His daughter @"Lucy Brownhill" is a current 6th year, so he could've potentially got the idea to write from her.

Fortitude Greengrass has considerably less experience and authority but he's younger and might be seen as more approachable? His sister is a 6th year also, so Addison could feasibly have gotten the name from her. (Clementine Greengrass).

Also Ernest Mulciber isn't active right now but he works in the Department of Mysteries and derives particular pleasure from crushing the dreams of ambitious Hogwarts students who want to be Unspeakables, so. If you want him to have a very unpleasant exchange, there's that xD

I have Elon here! He'd likely find Addison vaguely interesting. He's clever, but a lazy student. He only really pays attention to things that interest him. He can also be somewhat insensitive towards poorer people. Not out of malice, but due to his ignorance of how the world works.

You've already met Sloane and since she's my only student that's as good as that's going to get, but she and Bree's Cameron are attached at the hip most of the time so if the boys are friends Sloane is probably adjacent lol.

I also have the herbology professor Mason Skeeter who's generally easy-going!

Additionally I also have the hard-ass headmaster Phineas Black who is not easy-doing at all and a bit of a jerk lol.

I have Alice Dawson who is a year below him and a Gryffindor. But! She's also passionate in her dreams to become a healer. I see that Addison is going to be friendly with a bunch of the "Gryffingroup" above (Edison, Cameron, Sloane, etc.) so odds are if he's friendly with them he and Alice would be friendly too!

Elon Wildsmith ooh they could have a pretty interesting relationship! Since they would be in the same dorm and figure out how to get along that way. If you'd want to do a roommates thread I'd be up for that!

Melody Crouch He'd definitely be friendly with her! Besides that, she's got the same name as Addison's sister (or his mum. but nobody knows that lol) so he'd probably let his guard down a little around her, plus they have the same goal of healer/struggle of less money, so it could be fun to do a thread with them hanging out!
