The Ministry of Magic reports that all survivors have been removed from the shocking sinkhole in Padmore Park, and have been sent to Hogsmeade Hospital for observation before release. The operation, which took place over two days, retrieved a number of live victims. Only two deceased have been recovered thus far, their names not yet revealed to the public.

Now, what some are calling the real work: remediating the sinkhole and ensuring the safety of the park.

As to what caused the sinkhole in the first place? The area in question was the same used for an underground cavern during the Bone Menagerie earlier in the summer. Authorities suspect it may have been disturbed in some way, prompting the hole to form. This investigation, however, is pending, and has been placed on the back burner until the hole can be remedied.

Padmore Park will remain closed to the public until further notice.
