Did You Know?
Queen Victoria was known for putting jackets and dresses on her pups, causing clothing for dogs to become so popular that fashion houses for just dog clothes started popping up all over Paris. — Fox
It would be easy to assume that Evangeline came to the Lady Morgana only to pick fights. That wasn't true at all. They also had very good biscuits.

Appearance
King stands at 5'10, which is a height that leaves him quite unsure of himself though he tries to ignore these thoughts. He's right-handed but has recently tried to learn how to be left-handed as well. In terms of clothing, he's got a discreet style, refraining from trying anything too flashy.
History
Childhood 1873 | King Lukeson is the third born child to Guinevere and Ryder Lukeson. They live comfortably with their four children, carefully hiding Ryder’s curse as a werewolf.

1874 | King learns how to talk earlier than most expected him to, though it would take many months before walking. He’s delighted when told stories before sleep and reacts accordingly,

1875 | His parents and caretakers discover he enjoys playing with wizarding books filled with images that play around the pages. His favorite thing is creating his own stories out of it.

1876 | Any time he’s got a short story on his mind completed, he would call his parents and siblings - available - to hear and tell them it. It’s not until a day all of them happen to be busy that he grows anxious from thinking perhaps his tales aren’t so great. Later that year, as they ask what has happened that he stopped telling them stories, he runs away from explanations and says he’s outgrown it.

1877 | He doesn’t fully understand what a baby is and why they’re so small - and fragile -, but he follows Sybille around everywhere. Apparently, King is great at playing with kids and knows how to keep her entertained and when it needs be; he also notices whoever works at their house might be tired and makes an extra effort to behave and help out with his sister.

1878 | As a five-year-old, King has a better understanding of their world. He’s already of what a big thing is for Sybille to show her first sign of magic, but instead of jealousy, he is thrilled. It doesn’t help with his fear that she might hurt herself by accident, so he grows even more protective.

1879 | Avril shows her first sign of magic, to which point King begins wondering when it will be his turn. He’s only four but sees his siblings as ‘early bloomers’, though it isn’t quite true. His parents give him his first toy broom and despite not being too interested in it, he finds it fun.

1880 | Ace shows his first signs of magic, leaving King much more relieved than he would be otherwise. He’s terrified of the distance from Hogwarts but happy for his brother, knowing it was best for his sibling to be a wizard and studying rather than a squib and shamed for it. King gives him his toy broom in secret, not accepting a no, telling his brother it’s a gesture of good luck; it’s a bit of a childish act but he fully believes in its significance. For the rest of the year, he’s back at crafting stories and finds another hobby in collecting chocolate frog cards.

1881 | King doesn’t understand why his siblings are acting secretive and whispering to themselves from time to time, which leaves him anxious just to think about. It’s not helped by the fact Ace was away at Hogwarts for a year and Avril is about to leave; his head is full of thoughts that perhaps they are keeping secrets from him and don’t care about him so much anymore. He doesn’t know how to hide that he feels this way, so he begins locking himself in his room for the sake of writing - it’s helpful, as it grounds him.

1882 | The young man shows an impressive collection of chocolate frog cards for a nine-year-old. He’s also found many friends due to his family great connections, but some of them are eager to call him out for being called King - a few mean to make actual fun of it, while others aren’t so cruel but are instead only joking to him. Either way, his heart can’t tell the difference and he grows more anxious from it. It doesn’t help that his siblings are still secretive, even when his family assures him nothing has changed. He doesn’t know how to handle these unwanted thoughts and, for once, is ashamed.

1883 | King grows even more anxious from the fact he still hasn’t shown signs of magic. Leroy has already, and once again he is happy for his sibling but it’s a less authentic happiness - joined by thoughts of whether he’s good enough and how terrible it will be when he’s (certainly) discovered to be a squib. It’s not helped by the fact he overhears mom say to his dad it’ll be alright if he’s a squib. He knows mom’s brother is one and it runs in the family, so he’s terrified.

1883 (2) | However, his parents decide to have a talk with the siblings who hadn’t apparently known a secret, and tells them their father is a werewolf. It all makes sense. The secrecy, that is. He doesn’t mind it much that his father turns into a monster every month because he doesn’t have it in him to blame his dad for it, and it’s the first to tell him that this ‘trait’ doesn’t change a thing; not to him.

1883 (3) | He does a lot of thinking after being told os his father’s transformation. Although usually great at understanding, he still can’t quite comprehend why they kept it a secret and feel betrayed. It sucks because he loves his older siblings very much but has trouble thinking about how he’ll look at them when they’re back from Hogwarts. Still no signs of magic. Still collecting frogs and writing; he begins searching about the muggle world, since he’s surely doomed to end up in it.

Hogwarts 1884 | Hogwarts’ letters are this close to being sent around when King finally shows his first sign of magic. It’s a huge relief and he’s not even sure of what happened, too focused as he was on the fact that he’s a wizard. King feels like a huge weight has been lifted off his chest and he’s forgiven his siblings for the secrecy, looking forward to going to Hogwarts - when he goes, he’s one overly-enthusiastic, proud Hufflepuff who finds no trouble making friends and doing generally well on his classes.

1886 | Going into third-year has King excited for the fact Jolie is also headed to school. He’s established himself as a kind-hearted Hufflepuff who is usually available for advice, and though he keeps his stories hidden from everybody he’s proud of them. School gets tougher, though, and those second-thoughts lying around the surface come back even stronger.

1887 | Ace graduates, which means King has just lost one of his closest friends - and older brother - at school. However, it’s great when he hears he’s already got a job and is proud. What he’s worried about is as a fourth year he still hasn’t decided what he would like to work with, as pretty much everything sounds either boring or too difficult. He decides Quidditch might be a shot but doesn’t make it into the team; after that he has a panic attack for the first time, but has no idea what it is. Word soon gets out that he acted strange close to the field and even passed out, but thankfully people don’t turn away from him.

1887 (2) | Uncle Charles dies. Leroy dies. In front of him. He can’t think, he can’t breathe actually for what seems like a day though it’s only half an hour, but for the rest of the month he goes silent and distant. His grades fell, and he’s this close to not passing Hogwarts when people step in and help him with it. King doesn’t know what to fell, how to fell - he thinks it’s one scary and cruel joke that he’s named this way, so powerful, but he couldn’t so a single thing. He’s helpess and defeated, and suddenly every other problem seem so small. Even writing takes a second place in his life. It doesn’t help that Avril is taken out of Hogwarts and one less sibling there to help each other.

1888 | Fifth year is a mess. He’s just recovering from losing his brother and uncle when father passes. It doesn’t hit him as cruelly and he feels older, enough to deal with the pain, but he’s terrified when he hears mom has gone into labour earlier. However, he’s not expecting it when he’s told mom is dead and the world falls apart, quite literally - or so it feels - in his head. He doesn’t remember anything from it other than waking up somewhere that wasn’t his bed, with a killer headache, more ashamed of himself.

1888 (2) | The only thing keeping him going is the thought of his younger siblings and that his parents would be ashamed of having a son that does badly at Hogwarts, so he redirects all of his focus into it.

1889 | Mom is alive! Actually alive. He doesn’t remember feeling this happy in a long, long time - life is still pretty bad but some of the people he loves remain safe, and he’s back at writing again. It helps him cope, which he had forgotten while in grief. However, Avril has to marry a guy he’s pretty sure he doesn’t like and King is scared for her. Then Ace gets turned into a werewolf and it’s all a mess, but he lets his brother know he’s there for him no matter what.

1889 (2) | Secrets and all, sixth year is still a thing and he has to survive those next two years; he’s not sure how much he loves Hogwarts anymore, and whether it would be best to remain there or leave for the sake of being close to his siblings.
Personality
(+) Loyal. Trusting. Sweet. Generous. Caring. Energetic.
(-) Overcritical. Insecure. Anxious. Secretive. Pessimistic.
Other
- He HATES his name

- King has terrible anxiety ever since he can remember. Panic attacks are also common though he's figured out how to keep himself in check when it happens. He often has thoughts of not being good enough and wondering how people 'truly' think about him, and though he tries to keep these thoughts away they rarely do leave.

- King's main hobbies are writing and collecting chocolate frog cards. He values fantasy - fiction - over most other genres, though he's learning more about the muggle world in hopes of writing about both his world and that of muggles. Nobody but him has ever read his stories, unless later plotted otherwise.

- He's extremely talented with duels, which often comes as a surprise, even to himself.

- After finding out his father was a werewolf, King began researching on half-breeds. As it turns out, he defends them and finds the previous ban at Hogwarts to be a shame. However, he refrains from taking further action due to fear his family will be affected.

- King has tried out for the Quiddich team and failed, quite miserably. He secretly wants to try again, but also hopes to be a prefect. It doesn't help that there's so much on his mind, he's worried about studies but he can't keep the wishes away.

Although King has much of the talent to take "O"s, the death at his families and recent events, at the time, made it harder for him to study; he's disappointed at himself for doing worse than he expected, and is trapped between demotivation and knowing he needs to do better.

NEWTs courses: Charms, DADA, Transfiguration, History of Magic, Muggle Studies & Care of Magical Creatures

He wrote a letter to the Muggle Studies' professor asking to continue the course after getting an E, which thankfully was accepted.
