Claude Burke for Beatrix Burke.
She loves him not.
"I'll bleed wherever I damn well please!" She shouted, scowling at him. As if to prove it, she uncovered her nose and shook her head back and forth like a dog attempting to dry its fur of water. Little droplets of blood rained on the sidewalk all willy-nilly. Billie Farrow in A Good Dusting

PB ~ Keneti (KJ) Apa

Introvert: A very good listener, Ace tends to be on the more quiet side. He would prefer to take a moment and think deeply over situations, rather than acting at random.

Sensor: He is more focused on what is happening in the now, rather than nitpicking at the future too much.

Thinker: Rational and honest, this may leave some to see him as a cold person, but when one gets to know him, he is a very pleasant and easygoing guy. He tends to not take many things personally, and is quite respectful towards others.

Judger: Closure is very important to him, and leaving things unresolved tends to weigh on his mind for a long time, or it finally gets resolved. Taking responsibility quite seriously, he often feels a need to make certain that both his siblings and himself are kept in check.
Amortentia: Sybille’s baked goods, Jolie’s scent, old book smell.

Patronus: Kelly will think of this later

Boggart: Wild dogs, snaring at him

Hogwarts Clubs: History and Potions

Pets: An owl named Alexander, and a dog (Morgan) left to him by his father.
1869: Ace is born as the first child to Ryder and Guinevere.

1871: The first sister is born, Avril. Not too fazed, Ace doesn’t really mind the baby, but leaves her be.

1872: At last, a brother. Though Ace has grown fond of Avril, having another brother around sounds much better.

1873: King is born. Ace can’t help but feel bad for the name that their father named King something so different.

1875: Jolie is born.

1877: Yet another sister, Sybille, is born.

1878: Ta-da, the youngest and newest addition to the family has already shown signs of magic.

1879: Little Jolie has really started to follow Ace around, and he finds it kind of adorable.

1880: Oh finally, signs of magic. And just in time as well. Hogwarts is a week away.

1881: Father is a werewolf? Avril has a vision, and they decide to keep this news from everyone, not even telling their parents about the vision.

Summer, 1882: Mother and father now know about the vision, and won’t let Ace and Avril tell their siblings. This stinks. And father is actually a werewolf? Even worse.

1882: Avril is in school finally. They are in the same house, that is fun.

Summer, 1883: Finally, mother and father give in to Ace and Avril’s demands. The family has a talk and the werewolf is out of the bag to the other siblings. Except… Sybille is basically in denial, thinking it’s a joke. Oh well, they just let her think that.

1883: Leroy comes to Hogwarts and is placed in Hufflepuff.

1884: King goes to Hogwarts. Ace is worried that King is gonna let that stress of his get to him.

1885: Cousin Edgar is in school, a Gryffindor. OWLs come around for Ace, and he gets grades that he and his fam can be proud of.

1886: It is quite exciting for Jolie to come to Hogwarts, but is shocked and disappointed when his little sister isn’t placed in his house.

1887: Graduating with great NEWTs. He’ll miss Hogwarts, but it’s time to move on. He gets a job in the Department of Magical Education, as this does give him something to do that’s interesting to him and he feels that this is a good place to make a difference in the world (education is a stepping stone for young minds, after all). Summer brings great loss to the family. Leroy and Uncle Charles is dead. Mother than decides to take Avril out of school to be closer. Ace doesn’t ask for the specifics, already flustered and upset about this summer in general.

March 22, 1888: Father is now dead. Mother goes into premature labor. Everything seems to be falling apart.

March 23, 1888: Young Roselle is in the world, but not mother… not anymore.

March 25, 1888: Ace obtains guardianship of his younger siblings. It feels strange, and Ace isn’t too confident about all of this, especially with a newborn to look after. Aunt Jade is constantly hovering, making frequent visits. It’s as if she’s the guardian, even if Ace has been very responsible throughout all of this. The main worry for Ace is that Aunt Jade’s views will go to Roselle’s head.

July 3, 1888: Avril runs away to join the fog expedition, against his wishes. She ends up with malaria during the first day.

August 1, 1888: Ace refuses to speak to Avril, and she has not been permitted to leave the household.

January 29, 1889: Ace receives a ransom note claiming that his mother is alive. He sends it to the authorities, and gets an immediate response.

February 1, 1889: The investigation is featured in the Daily Prophet. Though Ace had not yet told his family, so that might come as a shock.

February 4, 1889: Mother is found and rescued. She really was alive.

June 3, 1889: Ace decides to add to his life by sponsoring the Appleby Arrows. He also plans to attempt at shaping up his team with new leadership.

June 26, 1889: Avril marries Warwick Nott, after the two are betrothed due to Aunt Jade.

July 12, 1889: Ace gets turned into a werewolf. Avril kills the werewolf in self defense and the defense of another.

September 16, 1889: Ace and Lucille elope after both fall in love, even though she had a marriage arranged by her mother to someone else.
  • Ace has lost several family members recently, including his parents. Or so everyone thought.

  • Now he is the guardian of his siblings. Though that may change now that his mother has been found alive.

  • His mother was found alive on February 4, 1889. Though he found out about her being taken hostage in January 29, 1889.

  • The investigation was featured in the Daily Prophet on February 1, 1889.

  • Ace and Lucille eloped in September 16, 1889.
  • His mother is a bit odd.

  • His aunt Jade tries to act as the guardian of his siblings, and constantly gives unwanted advise.

  • Aunt Jade and Grandfather Edgar hate his halfblood cousins and their squib father, due to purist views. Ace and his branch do not approve of these views.

  • Avril was specifically, and repeatedly, told not to go on the expedition.

  • Ace just became the sponsor of the Appleby Arrows

  • Lucille is preggo and due in July, 1890.
  • His father was a werewolf.

  • You don't know that he's a werewolf. You might think he's a werewolf. You probably can't prove that he is a werewolf.

  • Avril killed the werewolf that bit him. To be fair, it was in the defense of Ace and herself. This happened on July 12, 1889.

Plot Preferences: Personally, I love making plots. I like planning things out. However, I'm also willing to plan things out, to then ditch the plan completely if the muse takes me and those I thread with in another direction. My characters tend to do as they please, leaving me wondering what on earth I just typed. Trying to make them do something that they will not naturally do seems strange, and won't work the way that the plan was supposed to.

"Mature" content does not bother me in threads. Language and violence don't bother me (though if we are gonna do smut, there has got to be a good reason for it happening at all and I would prefer if we fade-to-black). However I'm not comfortable doing these things if it would not be something that my character would do, and/or if it is not for plot development.

For me, I like to try to type as much as my muse will allow. Typically I try to match with the other poster, if not posting more. I do not expect anyone to have to match my post word count if their muse does not call for it.

Complete three soap opera-esque storylines with your character. Each requires at least one archived thread of 10 posts or more. Suggestions include long-lost twins, accidental bigamy, and anything over-the-top, really. Character accounts cannot be combined.

Hello peeps. So as I go forth with Lukeson drama, I see more and more plot potential for Soap Opera Drama. First we had a mother 'return to life'. Then we had a cousin become a 'beast'. And now Ocean and I have been tossing around the idea of Ryder now coming back as well.

So my question to my fellow Charmers is, do you think it should happen? Bring back the last kidnapper with another attempt to try and take a portion of the Lukeson Fortune, and bring this drama back to the surface? This would likely be the last revival of the deceased peeps club, but why not right?
