National Quidditch Roster Released
At last, the Department of Magical Games & Sports has announced the roster for the national quidditch team! Though players were informed yesterday evening of how they fared, this will mark the first time in which all names are public knowledge.
Surprisingly, two members of the Holyhead Harpies and two retired players have found their way onto the roster. Let us hope they live up to the honour.
On the first string,
Esteban Zavala, Keeper & Captain. Mr. Zavala, 28, resides in London. He is currently the captain and first string keeper for Puddlemere United.
Arthur Pettigrew, Chaser. Mr. Pettigrew, 31, resides in Bartonburg, Hogsmeade. He is currently the captain and first string chaser for the Hogsmeade Howlers. Previously, Mr. Pettigrew has served as captain for the national team. It is expected that he shall resume this role should Mr. Zavala become indisposed.
Rufus Bixby, Chaser. Mr. Bixby, 26, resides in Bartonburg, Hogsmeade. He is currently the captain and first string chaser for the Appleby Arrows.
Augusta Robins, Chaser. Miss Robins, 26, resides in Pennyworth, Hogsmeade. She is currently a first string chaser for the Holyhead Harpies.
Beckett Longbottom, Beater. Mr. Longbottom, 30, resides in Wellingtonshire, Hogsmeade. The sponsor of the Wimbourne Wasps, Mr. Longbottom retired from playing quidditch in 1885, making him an unexpected choice for the first string lineup.

On the second string,
The Honourable John Humphrey-Mavis, Keeper. Mr. Humphrey-Mavis, 21, resides in Cambridgeshire. He is currently the first string keeper for the Chudley Cannons.
Jackson Cardew, Chaser. Mr. Cardew, 27, resides in Chudley were he is the captain and first string chaser for the Chudley Cannons.
Tristan Michaud, Chaser. Mr. Michaud resides in Wales and is currently a first string chaser for Puddlemere United. At 19, he is the youngest player on the national roster.
Margaret Darrow, Chaser. Miss Darrow, 22, resides in Bartonburg, Hogsmeade. She is currently a first string chaser for the Holyhead Harpies.
Mundungus MacFusty, Beater. Mr. MacFusty, 20, resides in the Hebrides Islands. He is currently a first string beater with the Hogsmeade Howlers.
Tybalt Kirke, Beater. Mr. Kirke, 24, resides in Bartonburg, Hogsmeade. He retired from his position with the Hogsmeade Howlers last year, and has a handful of fans eager to see him return to the pitch.
Cassius Lestrange, Seeker. Mr. Lestrange, 23, resides in London. At present, he is the first string seeker for the Chudley Cannons.
