The only way I can think of Anthea wanting to go is if she's made it interesting for herself.

SO GAMBLING! What's a wee bet amongst friends. Depending on who she's gambling with we may determine money, a peculiar item she's acquired or something else.

Who wants to bet with Anthea for

1) Winner
2) How many goals
3) Who catches the snitch
4) Injuries
Etc

And I'm fairly sure that like Athena Anthea is a poor loser RE: Trojan War because Paris chose Aphrodite; Arachne was turned into a spider because she won against Athena in a weaving competition so honestly I don't care if she wins or losers.

Also do we know the outcome of the game ahead of time?

I need to find something creepy but valueable for Daniel to wager..... wait gold comes from under ground. Hmmmm probably a statue of some sort. OH! Maybe a golden statue of a greek god that was their father's and everyone is annoyed Daniel ended up with it - except Daniel doesn't like it. He jsut wants it to lore over his siblings with.

Daniel Selwyn  - Daniel you ass - Anthea promises if you are too much of a shit she's going to come and stay with you and Freya for a while totally not motivated about getting out of the child-ridden house. Whatever did she do to you?  I'd also be going with a favourite chess-set or something keepsakey. You'd have to find something of equal value to exchange cause she's not likely to be tricked unlike a certain someone.

Ophelia Devine  - I feel like if you want to have a Poseidon/Athena rivalry similiar to myths this should be a good start. They should both put something onto the table that they each wanted and the other got at auction or something. Collectors Rivalry

Though if it's a group pot - I think Daniel should wager something like The Hand of Glory it has the ick death factor and you know his invisible helmet and all that.  I have no idea about Anthea I feel like she's wager an open ended within reason favour she thinks so highly of herself or something random like a truth serum or foeglass or a Sneakoscope She thinks a Weasley clock that'll tell Daniel when Deanna is nearby is totally a good idea
