Harper here is not the stereotype of a Ravenclaw - he's certainly intelligent and inquisitive, but you won't find Harper buried in a book. He's gregarious and charming, and more than comfortable at the center of the party. Sometimes that may not be the best thing for Harper though, with a keen eye for inconsistencies and a policy of sometimes overly blunt honesty, he has had his share of awkward moments. But he really was born to be a Healer, deeply compassionate and helpful, Harper is someone you want as a friend and do not want as an enemy. Also a member of Merlin's.

Friends! Harper is the sort of person who wants as many friends as possible, so throw anyone and everyone this way! While he is based in Hogsmeade Hospital, he did undertake most of his internship at St Mungo's and was originally from the heart of London so past connections can come from all over the place.

Enemies! While Harper typically tries to avoid unnecessary conflict, it wouldn't be fun if there was no friction, so I am all ears when it comes to disagreements. Perhaps Harper said something that upset someone, or his outgoing personality rubs someone the wrong way, go for it.

Lovers! Currently, this is taken care of - Harper is currently dealing with feelings for one Philip Aymslowe, but while that is developing furtively a fun side-plot with someone trying to get his attention if you're looking for some heartbreak for your characters?

Sooo I have @"Percival Adlard Jr." who graduated the same year (I think). He's not outgoing but if Harper befriended him Percy certainly wouldn't object. I'm cool with school friends or since school. He works for the Ministry currently and his sisters are always dragging him to social events to try to get him married.

As for lovers I have Felix Prewett who is a few years younger but is also super outgoing. Maybe a fling in the past or something in the future? Just throwing it out there.

For enemies, if he attends social events he has probably run into Seraphina Nott who can be judgy and not get along with him. If you wanted.

In the random category I have a new to curse breaking intern, Somersby Fudge, who could be injured and need a visit to the hospital.

I have a whole slew of men right around that age range so I may have a friend candidate for you!

Thom Pettigrew - UCPB Slytherin, 34 yo. Thom is a Quidditch inventor who throws gregarious parties so if he flourishes in social events they might be friendly despite the class difference.

J. Alfred Darrow - MCHB Gryffindor, 35 yo. An explorer who was shipwrecked and presumed dead for several years and is a bit "odd" by English society standards; potential friends if Harper isn't one to judge.

Reuben Crouch - MCPB Gryffindor, 30 yo. Event planner for a distillery who recently eloped in a highly scandalous fashion with another man's fiancee. Best suited for friendships with those who like to drink and make irresponsible choices occasionally. He's also friendly with Felix ^ which could be an in.

And then @"Juliana Binns" (MCHB Gryffindor, 28 yo spinster) I'll just throw in for good measure. She's sort of society- adjacent through her work at a fashion house but can more reliably be found and connected with in her older brother's bookshop. She's my newest and I'm generally throwing her all over to see where she sticks.

I have Dionisia Fisk, who works in the hospital with Harper! She's a mediwitch and married to the Potion & Plant Poisoning healer-in-charge, so he probably knows of her, but otherwise the degree of their acquaintanceship can be up to you!

Fallin - Harper loves a good society outing, and I can imagine him being just charming enough to talk his way into some more upper class gatherings (but probably not the ultra exclusive ones) - though he's middle class he is a Healer with good prospects of promotions so he would be a good show in society. As an ex-peer for Percival definitely open for some encounters at events, and definitely up for some party based tension with Seraphina that would be fun! In terms of future flings Harper is spoken for (at least for the foreseeable future), but definitely count me in for a thread dealing with one Somersby who needs medical attention (so long as it's spell damage)

Lynn - I hadn't thought about whether Harper is particularly attached to sporting events but he would certainly be interested in the inventions side of it, and of course the party side of it. I'm picturing a kind of boys night out with Felix and Reuben now getting a little bit drunk somewhere and making some decisions that perhaps shouldn't have been made? That seems like a fun thread to me.

Bree - Absolutely Harper would at least know of Dionisia, and I'm assuming they have met at events connected to the hospital. Is she still a mediwitch or a full time wife now? If she's still a mediwitch then I'm sure they've had some interactions at work as well, and Harper is not the sort of person to care about blood status. I noticed you have Eldin who wants to be a healer as well - I know a few other people have offered threads along these lines, but Harper would be more than happy to give some advice or guidance should he be asked

Hello!! I haaave:

– Tilda MacFusty is my main connection for you! She's a Creature-Induced Injuries Healer at the hospital! I feel she and Harper would get along splendidly!

I also have a few characters around his age that he might have run into but aren't exactly his age so their connections are up to you!

Amelia Evans is 28 and around his age! She set a student's robes on fire her....2nd or 3rd year I think? So Seth might have heard about that >.> I swear she's a very lovely person haha

Andromeda Delacour is also about 3 years his senior, and the Ravenclaw Matron! Not a lot of possibilities for cross-over there, but Im not above establishing some line of contact!

My ministry folk are Benedict Sterling who is an Auror and 37! Along the same vein, Faustus Prewett is 40 and Head Auror if Harper needs any authority figures to report things to or Ministry contacts! Both are very friendly, with Faustus being a bit of a soft blood purist.

Dionisia took a year and a half hiatus from the hospital during her pregnancy, but returned in February (I think?) with the explanation that she's "not the idle type".

And yes! I forgot about Eldin lmao! Maybe we could do an Easter break thread where Eldin hangs around at his mom's office (she's the magical bugs healer-in-charge) for the day doing unofficial shadowing, and Harper decides to show him around? I'd really like that!

Bee - Yes absolutely threads with Baxter. Harper wants promotions, and he would presumably be sucking up to Baxter (and possibly in the relatively distant future would want his job as well...). Mason as well could be an out of school friendship from his time at the apothecary. Harper is super happy to make friends with those he shops with, and an apothecary worker would definitely be on that list, so perhaps a friendship from there that has lasted through Mason’s move to working at Hogwarts

Lady - Yes definitely a friendly relationship with Tilda. But with Tilda’s stubbornness and Harpers blunt nature I can see some fun disagreements over patient care where Tilda is digging her heels in and Harper is saying ‘well I’ve been doing this longer than you’. For Amelia we could do a fun little thread of bumping into each other on the street of irvingly or hogsmeade and Harper trying so hard to remember why she looks familiar?

Fallin - If Dionisia has come back to work definitely something through that at least. Maybe a dinner thread with Dionisia, Ari and Harper or something of that nature as well? And a thread like that for Eldin would be super cute! With his mother working there Harper would presumably know Eldin in some capacity, and would be more than happy to show him around the hospital and give some tips. You up for a thread of that?

Probably my best bets for MC dudes ~around his age for friends would be either Elias Grimstone or Lorcan Byrne, who were both former Gryffindors within a couple years of him at Hogwarts. They're both pretty friendly... Elias is local to Hogsmeade, but is more the low-key type who needs to be dragged away from his work more often than not, whereas Lorcan is just a general human disaster who is lots of fun but always 0.2 seconds from going off the rails xD He's a mediwizard at St. Mungo's though, so there's that!

And I have Ari Fisk, hospital coworker, old friend of Baxter's, Dio's husband and also secretly gay (and fun fact, did meet Philip once upon a time before!). I'm sure they'd get along well enough, Ari likes most people xD I'd be down for a dinner thread, or there's also this event coming up esp for hospital folk towards the end of the month!

Hi Seth! My main two connections for you would be either Margaret Goyle (the year above him with Percy at school, she was a Gryffindor) or William Abbott who was a few years below him in school and a Hufflepuff. Maggie was best friends with Percy in school and is recently widowed. Might just be a former connection. Will was an avid quidditch fan and played for/captained his house team. He can be found at every society event in his hunt for a wife.

MJ - If you're ever looking for someone to tear Elias away from his work, Harper is your man. Not in a wild party animal kind of a way, but more of a 'hey I've noticed it looks like you haven't slept in three days, how about you stop and get some fresh air?' kind of a way. Harper is totally up for that. Also thanks for the heads up on the hospital event (there is so much to get through here!) definitely in for that one. I'm on the fence over whether Harper is super good at repressing being gay or just mildly uninterested in romance without a specific spark, but maybe some dinner tension could be fun?

Emma - Harper is sure to bump into William at a society event - happy to be an old acquaintance from a previous event or a new meeting? Former connection for Margaret as well would be totally believable, and Harper is likely to be spending more and more time in Irvingly in the near future so may be more likely to run into her

LOL Tilda will not like that esp since her family have been working with animals for generations *cackles* I've had her rant about a sexist co-worker in the past, but we could change that to her just ranting about a co-worker as stubborn as her >.>

Harper doesn't strike me as the sort of person to be sexist, but would also love to rant about a co-worker who is sufficiently stubborn. Also Harper is from London and I am imagining that there will be tension then between a native Londoner and a native Scot. The question left then is who will be right (or neither) - maybe unconscious patient with unkown injury and Tilda suggests some family remedy but Harper thinks a different spell will be more effective?
