Issue #179 - Success In The Second (Or Third) Season!
#5
The news that the Benet girls had stowed away onboard a sailing vessel caused quite the stir — do you think the situation can be attributed to the terrible luck of twins, or is there something more suspicious going on with the Benet family? Letters From Our Readers!
              Dear Witch Weekly,
I simply loved your article recently about the potion which can ensure you are having a baby boy — but is there anything we know of that can prevent the birth of twins? Having two boys when one is hoping for an heir would complicate matters unnecessarily, and with all of the dramatics surrounding them recently I don't believe my family could handle the trouble they bring! Miss Scrimgeour is the obvious example, but those Benet twins that tried to run away on the ship are another — and they're proof that sometimes both twins are unlucky and ill-adjusted, not just one of the pair!
              Sincerely,
              Hoping For A Single

              Dear Witch Weekly,
I have been an avid reader since your first publication, and in this week’s issue found the decision-maker regarding whether or not to wear a particular gown to be very useful—as are most of your pieces! I consider myself to be something of a mover and shaker in society, which is why I was startled—to say the least!—when this week’s issue featured so prominently a couple I have never even heard of.

I like to think I speak for most of your target readership when I say that no one cares about a baker girl and that, if you wish to hold our interest against similar publications, you should maintain your focus on society, rather than the lower masses.
              Sincerely,
A Past and Hopefully Future Subscriber

              Dear Witch Weekly,
I hope you intend to do some digging into those shameful Benet parents who let their children run around unescorted long enough to sneak on to a boat! I heard that Mr. Benet's entire family died in France, which I find awfully suspicious — they really must just be the worst sorts of people, and it's clear that you can't trust the Prophet for this sort of cutting-edge investigative journalism!
              Sincerely,
British Parent (Who Has Never Misplaced Two Daughters)
