Hi!

This fellow is a friend of the extended family (via Pablo Medina who I think is a cousin of Fudges) and he stayed at the Sanditon for several months during their off season last year. Pablo and he had just returned "from the dead" after being lost in a shipwreck many years previously. Their paths may have crossed briefly around Christmastime if she was home at that point but that was also when Alfred was moving out of the Sanditon and onto his ship the Voyager. He will be attending Herbert & Freddie's re-wedding so that's another potential run-in opportunity.

He has some interesting rumors floating around about his and Pablo's time abroad - namely that they 'went native' for years and may have even become cannibals. Alfred also notably has tattoos which is pretty #exotic for this era. He sometimes comes to the Sanditon during non-peak hours to borrow one of their sailboats and race around to clear his head.
