September 11th, 1891
Woke today at 9'o'clock. I dressed, ate breakfast with the children at 9:30. I went with them to their quarters for lessons. Their mother desired my company after morning lessons around 11. I sat with her in the drawing room and she called for tea. We sat and talked for awhile. There were fires going in nearly every room from morning till evening, which I was grateful for. Hogsmeade can get rather cold even in September. Had lunch at half past noon, then more lessons for the children. They did well with little protest. Dinner at 7. Read until I felt tired. Went to bed about 10:30.
