Times of uncertainty make the best environment for conspiracy theories to be born. I made this thread so we can share the wildest, most entertaining theories we stumble upon and read them when our mental health is at its lowest and get some serotonin going.

According to a fb friend of mine, the lockdown here in Greece is actually a conspiracy to get all the refugees from the islands to the mainland, so they can take over Greece while we are quarantined in our homes!!!
This other lady also said that if you open your window around 3AMish you will hear a peculiar sound. What is this sound? Why aren't dogs barking?

A lot of people think this is a hoax designed to install Trump as a dictator xD

I’ve also heard:
- The period back in November/December when everyone was such with bronchitis was actually covid-19 before it was discovered
- This is all a plot to hurt the US election
- The virus was bioengineered as a bio warfare plot gone wrong

(I did not investigate this to see if these people think the virus was engineered or what but... yeah)

(Also Donald Trump was and forever will be impeached but no one in the US seems to know how our political system works)

I've not been looking at conspiracy theories but I can confirm that the virus is not man-made whooo! No biological warfare. Man-made viruses use backbones from natural viruses. This has a never before seen backbone, therefore it is not man-made because we do not have the tech to create viruses from scratch. And please pray we never do.

Mike says it was engineered and released in China as a way to restore faith in their government. When there's mass chaos like this people place their faith in the government and China's been having a lot of uprisings the past few years.
