Hullo, your friendly neighborhood Kit here seeking some familial connections for my Inconvenient Children resident. Family should be middle class and I will be using Cory Gruter-Andrew.

My basic idea is that either he is a bit of a brat so got sent off by his parents to the St. Mungos Home for Inconvenient Children or he can be the orphaned child of a relation to your character - I'm flexible on it but am personally musing with the first bit.

I am looking for him to be 10 years old so that he can start at Hogwarts next year!

  

He could be the great nephew of Mara's grandmother(grandson of one of her older brothers, if I'm being specific), if you want a connection that's vague. You could do anything you wanted with his parents, his grandparents would probably have sent him away, just to keep him busy, and away from them

  

He could be related to the Rookwoods through Justice's mother (surname is up to you!). It would make sense if "Uncle Eldridge ----" decided to send the Rookwood kids (which may or may not be happening, I still need to chat with Dante~) there if he already knew of another family member who had a child there.

BUT anyways, I wanted to let you know that I plan on making a MCAB 10-year-old for the place, so your character will have someone to thread with soon enough!! ^^

Alfred had an older sister who died of unspecified causes in '83, who feasibly could have had a child that age. Childrearing decisions might have fallen to Evander Darrow when she died (or someone on the NPC dad's side if you'd rather) who could've sent him there. You'd have to make sure Kayte would be okay with that from a Darrow family background standpoint (and Hamish wouldn't step in to adopt him or anything) but if he's kind of an obnoxious shit anyways maybe that would help Uncle H be okay with the idea of shipping him off xD

Ah, I am so torn. Definitely favoring connections with played family that he'd actually be in contact with be it letters or otherwise. Which from the looks of things would either be Rookwood cousin or the Darrow connection. -ponders more-
