See Below | REP 7+ | Valentines Day Event

What: Valentine's Day at the Ivy Leaf Tea Room & Bakery
Who: Hosted by the Ivy Leaf staff at both their London and Hogsmeade branches
Cost: Prices will be slightly higher than usual given the nature of the event! See below.
Where: The Ivy Leaf Tea Room & Bakery
Why: Cause it's Valentine's Day — what could go wrong?
When: 14 February 1892

The Ivy Leaf Tea Room & Bakery will be hosting special teas at both of their locations. Each shop will be decorated with primroses, snowdrops, hyacinths and strings of ivy provided by the Florist Potts. When walking in, guests will be greeted with just the right amount of floral perfume that suits their needs. The bakeries will provide specialty multicolored pastries in the shape of hearts, wings etc. These will be only priced a bit higher than usual, but are reasonably affordable to anyone respectably WC. Some of the treats available in the tea room are also available for purchase in the bakeries should customers wish to bring them home to loved ones.

The Tea Rooms will be slightly elevated for their clients, and will host an array of specialty sweet treats for this occasion including but not limited to:
  • Tea with special, spherical sugar cubes that, when put into drinks, will melt to reveal a small flower that will float to the top
  • Specialty chocolates that, when broken into, will speak a certain fortune to you.

Should you decide you want to attend at the Hogsmeade branch, just be veeerrryyy certain you'd like to go...

Who: Lady Cyrenai is the hostess - for anyone in very discrete circles, and only for those who can be trusted to be discrete
Cost: N/A
Where: A private home, that looks like it has been rented just for this event - there are no personal affects about the place - clearly no one 'lives' here.
Why: Who needs love when you can fork.
When: 15th February

A play on the true nature of love and needless to say it's not the Christian representation of hetero married monogamous love. Drinks and socializing as the play progresses

ACAB | REP 5+ | Quidditch Party

What: The Holyhead End of Season Party
Who: Widow and Sponsor of the Holyhead Harpies, Ottoline Sheach, is hosting a party for the end of the Quidditch season; this is for Quidditch fans of middling reputation (and higher) as well as the Harpies and members and sponsors of rival quidditch teams that wish to come.
Cost: N/A (perhaps your pride, if being seen here might bother your UC/PB sensibilities)
Where: The Sheach Estate - along East Founder's Street, Wellingtonshire
Why: Ottoline feels like it’d be a good move on their part to throw a party now that they’re out of mourning and who better to throw it for than their girls?
When: February 23rd

The Sheach first floor has been decorated with various items in the colors of the Holyhead Harpies with a few smatterings of general Quidditch memorabilia. Enchanted lettering of the Harpies' motto hangs in the main hall for guests to see. Doors leading to the kitchens, basement and the staircase going upstairs have been spelled to block overly curious partygoers. The front parlor, drawing and dining room have also been enchanted to allow plenty of room; various refreshments will be offered in the Dining Room. The party will start in the evening and end at Midnight, but guests are welcome to leave beforehand.

ACAB | REP ANY | SNOWBALL FIGHT

What: Winter's End Celebration
Who: The Hogsmeade Business Bureau or whatever - High Street Shop types. Open to anyone who isn't afraid of getting kidnapped <3
Cost: No
Where: Padmore Park
Why: Just a fun wintery thing to do, and some of the local businesses will have booths near the park to sell goods.
When: 11-12

Padmore Park will be extra frosty these two days for a little end of winter celebration! On Friday the 11th anyone can come play in the snow and build snow/ice sculptures (no magic allowed). The sculptures will be judged by a group of business owners the next morning and prizes will be given out based on several different brackets: small child (ages 1-11), individual child (11-17), group child (11-17, two or more builders), individual adult, group adult (17+). The prizes are all free or discounted goods at local shops. Saturday the 12th is when the booths will be set up to sell food and drink. In the morning people can wander and peruse the sculptures, and in the afternoon anyone who wants to participate can enter into a snowball fight. There are three brackets (small child, child, adult) and it's a last-man-standing style tournament, with prizes for the winners (No magic allowed in the small child/child arenas but encouraged in the adult competition). They happen in stages: small child first, then child, then adult as the afternoon winds down into evening.

UCAB| REP 6+ | Valentines Masque

What: Queen of Love Masque
Who: The Blackwoods are Hosting, for society types
Cost: N/A
Where: Blackwoods London Home
Why: Valentines
When: 14th February

A masquerade ball in which elaborate valentines costuming is encouraged - if not required!

There are small standing tables about the venue, when a man and woman are at the table together they cannot be overheard.

The food is slightly laced with something like amormentia  -not enough to make strangers elope but a gent with a strong inclination may ask someone to court, or for a girl he's courting to become engaged.  Or just inspire someone to ask someone they like to dance! It inspires romantic enthusiasm - rather than fake love.

ACAB| REP Any | Underground Fight

What: Underground Boxing Match - Ladies and Mens matches
Who: All types invited - if you have an interest in UG fighting and drinking and are a society type you got an invite - WC most likely invited if they want to fight for the purse - although MC and UC that want to fight are not discouraged.
Cost: Betting encouraged and a large purse for the various winners - both male and female.
Where: A discrete, and secretive venue in London.
Why: Because underground boxing and drinking is fun.
When: 29th February

The venue is clearly an industrial space that has been 'tarted up' for the occaision. A sand covered 'ring' is where the fights will take place. Stands have been erected around the ring and the bookmakers will be down near the rings edge.
The fighting is bare knuckle, and likely to be bloody. A discrete healer is on hand to make sure no one dies. It's an opportunity for the truly rugged and manly to prove their metal
