Mister Adventurous Fellow,
I read your ad in Lonely Hearts and simply had to respond! I, too, have posted ads seeking a companion that will enjoy an adventerous life with so it made perfect sense for me to write in to you. I have not yet had the pleasure of going on many adventures but that is something that I hope might change in the future.

I am a graduate of Slytherin and am 23 years of age. I will allow you to be the judge of whether I have a pretty face or not should you like to meet in person.

Miss L. Huddleston

Mister Lorcan Byrne,

Witch Weekly is pleased to inform you that your recent submission to our Lonely Hearts article has generated a response. Witch Weekly is devoted to providing help to all of our readers, no matter what their social disadvantages, and we are delighted to provide this service to the lovelorn in our magical community. We hope that you will be able to create a happy ending with our help, instead of being doomed to a tragically lonely life.

Please see the enclosed letter and advise us whether you will need your advertisement repeated in further issues of our magazine.

Dear Miss Huddleston,

It was a grand surprise to receive your letter... but of course, it made perfect sense! I too don't have nearly as many adventures as I would like - life does enjoy trying its best to get in the way, doesn't it? - but I don't see why that should stop us. Your letter, I think, seems a good sign in that direction!

Similarly, why should there be anything to prevent us from finding adventures close to home? I would be more than happy to embark upon the adventure of meeting you, if you so desire. Have you anywhere special you would like to visit?

(And if your face is half as pretty as your handwriting, I doubt anyone in the world would be disappointed.)

Yours,
Adventurous Fellow
