So! He could use... ❧ Family & family friends— Amity Rosewood/Clarissa Cosgrove hi surprise he is YOUR UNCLE and also now staying with you and the fam at the Sanditon, because I just do whatever Satan Kayte tells me to xD No, also because he hasn't lived in the country in years so has nowhere else to go. He hasn't seen you in forever but hopes to get to know you better while he is here, temporarily, to sort out Edmund Rosewood's legal affairs. Fudges, Cresswells and other adjacents, he doesn't know any of you particularly well yet, but if you knew Edmund Rosewood or were relying on that investment, you might have opinions on his arrival! >.> ❧ Sanditon residents— His current home while he's in the country. He knows nobody, happy to meet people, I would love to make him hear all about the effects of the Sanditon storm. ❧ Friends from the past!— He was a Hufflepuff at school from 1866-1873, so I would love some very old friends to catch up with! He might not have seen them in many years because he's been off travelling the world, but they could well have kept up sporadic letter exchanges in that time. ❧ Herbologists, potioneers, naturalists— He's done a lot of research around the globe in these kind of fields, and I would love for him to chat with people with shared interests or careers. ❧ Hurls?— He is not very enthused by the idea of settling down, but he's technically single – and in the process of inheriting a big-ass fortune, if that helps! ❧ A reason to stay— Convince him to follow in his brother's footsteps and invest in the Sanditon? Show him the merits of Britain? Make him fall in love? Frank's plans are to only stick around temporarily to sort out his financial and legal affairs, but I am very open to complications, curveballs, and anything at all that might give him a good reason to stay... >D

Amity has an open where she's pretty pissed at the world.

I also have Zaid Ragge who lives & works there and presumably helping with repairs/clean up. Pablo Medina lurks around now and then. Victoria Fudge also tends to come hang around. Semi Clarissa Cosgrove hurling? I think she would find his travels interesting.

  

I can offer Benevolence as a friend - perhaps someone he corresponded with while he was living abroad - possibly he had been corresponding with her father before his death, and with her since his death?
She hosts plant nerd dinners to socialise with other plant nerds, so perhaps if we can establish that they were writing, or he had a family connection Nev could host a horticulturalists christmas dinner, or a very Victorian social event where he gives a talk to plant nerds about his adventures.


I also have Lizzy Cardew who is the sanditon a good deal, and who would LOVE to be a explorer, of a more historical nature but as a lady she knows she can't so would love to hear and enthuse over a his adventures. She's a bit severe, so if she thinks he's just an upper class gentleman of leisure she would probably be a bit harsh with him and wouldnt warm up until she realises he's actually intelligent and worthwhile

His stories would also appeal to Maddie's current wanderlust

Oh I like these ideas! I could definitely see a Montague family acquaintance, even if limited to letters in the past! And I would love for them to catch up in person, and Benevolence can definitely try to convince him to give a talk to plant nerds, that would amuse me greatly xD

Also open to meeting and chatting adventures with Lizzy! So basically let me know who you'd most like a thread for and I can probably start something?

Somersby is around Sanditon quite a bit although he currently lives in London and is just back from traveling. Personally I think he would be very fascinated by Frank's travels. I'm not sure if he would know about the investment but he'd have some feelings about that too.

As for hurls I have @"Dahlia Potts" who just came out. She's pretty sweet and a bit of a daydreamer.

Off the top of my head I feel like him and Louisa would get on well? She may be a bit dry for him, but I could see them as acquaintences/friends and mayybe hurls? But well you know Louisa lol she thinks she's cursed so xD

Irene would also enjoy his company, likely! She was restoring at the Sanditon so I could see them getting acquainted there!

Alfred lives at the Sanditon, you know him. (Also they may have been schoolmates or a year off? Alfred is turning 37 this month and was, obviously, a Gryffindor)

Emrys wasn't SUPER close in age but they were in the same house so could possibly have been friendly in school? On the one hand Emrys probably isn't the sort to have purposefully befriended a younger student but on the other hand if they did somehow manage to become friends Emrys is likely the sort to have kept up with sporadic letters, especially since he was also abroad for a significant portion of his "young man years."
