Dear Slightly Eccentric,

I hope my letter finds you in good humour and good health.  I admit to being rather intrigued by your letter.  I am a woman of an academic and intellectual bent.  Might I be so bold as to enquire as to the nature of your particular academic interests?  My own extend to history and anthropology, I can often be found haunting the museum as a sort of academic shade.

I am the eldest daughter of a large family with many siblings, I am not sure if that is sufficient to count as eccentric or merely noteworthy.
