If we want the best of both worlds - both NPC families AND a played family, we could do the Sanditon Inn - we make up guests who visited, and there are lots of things to speculate with events, etc that go on there.

Sanditon would be a good choice because places like that would have had valets and ladies maids for hire so people didnt need to bring their own staff, so if more than one person wanted to play a valet or a ladies maid it could be accomodated. And they would have long term residents if someone wanted to be a ladys maid to a specific person.
The only limited roles would be Head Butler, Housekeeper, Cook and those senior household positions.

Finn Falk just got married to Pandora Falk, so they're getting an increased amount of staff for having a lady of the house.

Odette Tailler is back in the country. French maids, anyone?

@"Liliana Selwyn" needs a maid she drags around that she constantly gossips to. Perhaps someone who was raised to be Selwyn staff, so their's some familiarity and loyalty?

On another note, I really am liking this idea more and more, because Miri and I have talked a lot about wanting a more prominent (respectable) WC family/group to have more WC threads and events. xD

I mean...he's already a fully-fledged muse so,

I think I am leaning more and more towards the Sanditon for reasons already outlined! We can still do the joint-NPC-headcanons for the permanent guests for those who prefer it, and we would definitely get a lot more interaction with played characters with people visiting/our staff getting hired out during the season. The Sanditon events are already established so we wouldn't have to host them through a NPC household; the Sanditon staff presumably also have a little more freedom of movement than in the one household where many of them are not otherwise going to be getting out much xD And as the resort has probably a bigger staff pool than other places, if people want to join later there's probably more room for them to do so?

But still with all the good domestic service related drama, of course. xD

Also the Downton downstairs went to the beach once as a group outing so I think it's cute.

100% Think it will make it easier to make other WC characters if they are not all prostitutes and thieves! XD

Totally Agree! I'd probably remove vote for NPC family, on this basis, since I think the Sanditon can play both rolls.
