Win a Date With Eugene Scamander

Guys my Eugene muse was in high gear seeing "his boys" in this movie. Also it's been brought to my attention (thanks for the panic Bree! :P) that Theseus Scamander is supposedly 8 years older than Newt... which makes him born in 1889. I'm already technically late, so unless we doorstep baby him, he'll be off a little. If I were more on the ball this would legit be a WW contest.

GUESS WHO NEEDS TO GET ON THIS FOR ANY KIND OF CANON CORRELATION? That's right this girl.

It's also been brought to my attention that the Scamander boys are nowhere positively labeled as pureblood, so this opens up a lot of doors!

Eugene is:

• Beast Division employee
  
• the heir to his upper MC family (so can techinically support a wife)
  
• goofy af, probably not ready for marriage, but charismatic and not a total asshole. He has an auburn niffler named Ginger, a horde of opinionated sisters and an affinity for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

What he needs in a possible wife:

• 18-25 (and/or out of Hogwarts)
  
• AB
  
• probably mc, but not super suck on it
  
• It's a short list of things really XD In HP canon she breeds hippogriffs, but this can be something she picks up after marriage, though it would make it easier if she already enjoyed animals XD
  

HOW IT HAPPENS: I would prefer not to force anything and do things more organically. Additionally I would like to do more than straight up meet-and-greets, so toss me your best candidates and some fun scenarios! I will probably start with one per player rn so I don't overload myself, but if it flops and we try again with somebody else, that's cool!

I have Benevolence Montague - MC, Pureblood, into herbology and plant breeding.  She's as sweet as a button- Former Ravenclaw and beginning to dabble in animal breeding as part of her Nano plot -Owns her family business, which operates a location in Hogsmeade and London. She's bookish and a bit quirky, bit of a hippy who thinks everything alive deserves respect and care.
She makes plant deliveries to the ministry, so paths may have crossed before, and since she is looking into breeding, she might seek out some guidance from the ministry on what she can/can't do.

I took the L'estrange interest in the family as meaning the sons were pureblood, but if they aren't then I guess Madeleine Backus who has an MC inheritance and isn't afraid of hard work - and she is only just graduated from Hogwarts - and is still finding her 'career' so could very well end up as a breeder. She's also quite tall and would give rise to those gangly Scamander genetics and was a Hufflepuff. Meet and Greet between them, could possibly happen at an event where Maddie is awkward turtling- or his niffler gets hold of her mothers necklace which is a bit sentimental at the moment.

So I've always been like really rigidly WOMAN ALWAYS MARRY AN OLDER MAN OR ELSE IT IS SOCIALLY WEIRD but actually there have been many instances in books and rl historical stuff I've read/watched/etc. over the years where a woman has been a little bit older and apparently it's not a big deal? And I'm always like BUT?>?!?!??! Like obviously not a 19 year old marrying a 17 year old boy but an established man marrying a slightly older woman. I think typically it was done when the woman was a widow (wc class with kids in particular for financial support) or a spinster and didn't have a whole lot of options. There was apparently a huge gender ratio disparity in the 1800s where women outnumbered men considerably (I guess our census wasn't really so out of whack for all those years) which I didn't know until I read The Odd Women a few weeks ago. I keep stumbling across things like that that give the impression it really wasn't as big of a deal as I thought it was so I'm trying to adjust my perception.
