Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1895. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.

Did You Know?
Did you know? Jewelry of jet was the haute jewelry of the Victorian era. — Fallin
The teen cursed themself for getting hit by a bludger as they went low above the ground. They gave Crabbe a smirk and then pulled up in a chandelle turn around the end most flag tower. There was a bludger crossing the field in front of Blair who urged their broom forward, whacking it back between two of the towers in the hope that they could catch Eros Mohr off guard and take him out.

Anne's blood raced, her mind at its best when she was flying. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the bludger coming her way. Flattening her body to her broom, Anne attempted to dodge the hit.
The beaters seemed to be more interested in striking at each other than they were at getting any of the fliers out. Ben wasn't sure he could blame them — the bludgers bouncing back and forth against the bats did look like good, rowdy fun. Dursley managed to intercept the bludger heading towards him rather easily, with a satisfying smack even through the halo of powder that arced out as it changed direction and color. Miss Mooney was less fortunate; though she tried to dodge the bludger scraped the top of her head, leaving her forehead and nose dusted blue.

BLUDGERS IN FLIGHT:
Nico hit to Abraxas Crabbe who has a chance to dodge
Bonnie hit to Eros Mohr who has a chance to dodge
"Get in!" the seeker celebrated as her bludger hit Anne squarely. Blair pulled up and did a short tail slide maneuver to end up behind one of the other players, who was it? Paxton Fudge was now right in front of the red head just in time for them to hit the bludgers towards the back of the older boy.

Ben had been sure Crabbe was about to take the hit, but at the last second he managed to get his bat between the incoming ball and himself. From this vantage point Ben couldn't be sure if he had actually aimed it or just tried to deflect, but the young Mr. Pettigrew was flying close enough to be in the line of fire regardless.
Another bludger soared towards Mr. Mohr, but he rolled elegantly away from it and left it sailing past him. Mohr came from a Quidditch-y kind of family, didn't he? Ben couldn't remember exactly, but he knew the boy played on the house team so he wasn't surprised he flew well. Why hadn't the Quidditch club made him one of the Gryffindor beaters for this skirmish? Maybe then they wouldn't still be stuck at zero points. Probably the goal had been to spread out opportunities to students who didn't usually get them, and generally speaking Ben was in favor of that, but... zero was a little embarrassing.
Dear lord, watching people get hit with the power balls was oddly satisfying, Rorie thought as she flew, weaving where she could. Hoping she wasn't next, she darted to the outskirts of the skirmish.
