Sybil is a ghost that was murdered on the night of her debut though her body was not discovered until some months later when Sybil had finally come to terms with being a ghost. She tends to attend events whether ghosts are invited or not. She has an enjoyment in seeing how the lives of her friends and people she knew has turned out.

Former schoolmates: Sybil was a Hufflepuff from 1871-1878. She was soft spoken but bright in classes. She would not have made it a habit to get to know anyone working class.

Friends: Sybil was an upper class pureblood in life and she had a strong sense of feminine propriety. Most of her friends would have been upper class women of any blood status with some middle class mixed in there.

Romance: She is a ghost but not completely immune to the charms of men, living or otherwise. So, things are open here whether it is a past involvement, ongoing, future, whatever. She has definite trust issues sparked from the circumstances of her death, though.

The Deadly Crush: The accidental cause of Sybil's death, this man is someone who attended school at least some of the time that Sybil did in her last three years ('75-'78). He need not have been a yearmate so long as he was in attendance at least during one of those years (if he was not in her year, he was older). Sybil believed that they were in correspondence but it was actually someone else intercepting her letters to him so he possibly never even knew she was smitten with him.

He is someone who Sybil felt her parents would disapprove of (different social classes, scandalous family, too close in age, not a first son, any of these example reasons could be why) which is why she had slipped out of the Coming Out Ball for a  secret rendezvous with him. Instead, it was the catfisher who ended up murdering her.

She and Jasper might have known each other from society events! Also, he's kinda the sort to have tried and treat her like a living girl at a party to make her feel less bad about being a dead deb xD

  

Tanwen here was an UCPB just a few months younger than Sybil but due to the July/November divide, was a year below her in school but both were hufflepuffs. They also could have easily been in similar play circles prehogwarts!

  

Hello! Since I have a TYPE I have copious options for your deadly crush :P Listed here with their current ages and a description of what they were like in school (I'm on mobile so checking Hogwarts dates is hard, if they don't line up forgive me)

Oz - 35 - pretty much like he is now, smug and self-obsessed and always looking for chances to show off how clever he is (HB and weird family and very quickly got a reputation as a rake if you're looking for reasons for parents to disapprove)

Ben Crouch - 32 - typical popular jock persona (MC and youngest son for disapprove reasons)

Alfred - 36 (misses by a year I think) - daydreamer and prone to getting in trouble when other people goaded him into it (sailor, lol)

Victor - 31 (a year too young) - quiet, intelligent, likes puzzles, very comfortable in his small friend circle (younger would be the dealbreaker here)

Also for other things, Ford in Spirit Div will dance with ghost debutantes to make sure they're entertained at events lol.

Endymion would have been the year above! Potentially useful for being nice to her at parties now and/or an option for the deadly crush or just an UC friend back in her schooldays!

Phyri was the year below, probably wasn't friends with her back then but likely took a little more of a morbid interest post-dying. Apparently amongst the living I basically just have Dempseys for you, lol xD

I have decided to go with Endymion for the DC but thank you for the lovely offers as always. <3 And they might not have been the deadly crush but she probably has had some kind of a crush on most of them at different times. xD And aw, Ford, you lovely bean.

Beckett and Caspian were at school around the same time, a little older. Becks probably flirted, because that's becks haha.

Tillie and Torie would be in her social circles now and Tillie would be fascinated so could be a potential friendship there?
