"Paul" (name open) is a ACAB wizard, and the other survivor of the Sycorax expedition. Although not initially close or even particularly friendly, Alfred and Paul became besties during their forced exile from 1882 - 1887. Speaking generally, Paul has adjusted much better to life back in Britain than Alfred has. Depending on your wont, he can either have been in the Navy like Alfred or can have been a part of the expedition's scientific/academic detachment, in which case he should have some sort of relevant academic specialty. He was previously played as a cousin of Herbert Fudge, which is convenient since they stayed at the Sandition briefly upon their return to England, but if you want to combine him with another ad I can retcon that.
