History is all around us. Your job during these summer months will be to engage with it. Perhaps you tour the pyramids of Egypt, or pay a visit to one of our museums closer to home. Maybe, instead, you witness history in action—something that will change our world forever. Whatever it is, you are to write an essay about it to be placed in my hands on the first day of classes.
