For your first assignment of the year, you will write an essay about the herbal lore of Valerian Root. Valerian Root is used in several potions, usually as a sedative. In this particular circumstance, you must simply write about an incident in wizarding history that involved the use of valerian root. I will accept an account of a family member, or that of a prominent historical figure.
