Daniel allowed his wife to lead them toward the boardwalk. Not a destination he would have chosen, but it seemed only fair. He should at least try to enjoy their time here. Doubtful he would, but he owed it to his wife to at least seem more agreeable. After all one never did know when her mother would call on her for yet another illness. Besides, it seemed so long since he had seen Freya last smile like this.
