The Great Character Survey: 2020 Revival Edition
#32
CHARACTER NAME: Cassandra Clio Fawley; she goes by Cassia exclusively
BECAUSE… I wanted a student and wanted to get a head-start on Prefect season!

CREATION DATE: April 7th, 2020
BIRTH YEAR: 1875
PLANNED DEMISE: I haven't thought about this much. Maybe during a Herbology experiment gone wrong?
HOGWARTS HOUSE: Hufflepuff!
BOGGART: Her parents telling her she's a disappointment.
AMORTENTIA: Herbal tea, roses, paint, and homemade cookies.
PATRONUS: "While she's not likely to take NEWT DADA in the future, and thus would not be able to cast it, her patronus is a Doe."
RESIDENCE: Westminster, London

ASOIF/GOT HOUSE: Tully again, I guess. xD
DIVERGENT FACTION: Abnegation
"You don't like to draw attention to yourself, and are more concerned about other people's contentment than your own. You find joy in fulfillment in making other people happier, safer, and healthier. Other people see you as somewhat difficult to get to know, but also as quiet and kind."

CLOSEST RELATION: Cordelia Fawley
BEST FRIEND: She doesn't have an established best friend, and I should really figure that out lol.
NEMESIS: Ruby Urquart, I guess. If they can even be called that. xD
MOST OFTEN POSTED WITH: Ruby Urquart
I DREAM OF POSTING WITH… Anyone on the Herbology scene, who would like to encourage Cassia's budding interest in Herbology and Floristry.

IN THE MODERN AGE… Cassia would be that quiet, artistic kid in high school, who sits at the back of the class, daydreaming or doodling in her notebook. She takes creative writing and art classes, and she loves anything vintage or pastel-colored. I could see her eventually, once she's gained a bit more confidence, making an Instagram account for her vintage finds and giving outfit tips/ideas.
DURING THE WAR… I feel like her parents would be quiet supporters of Voldemort, though more out of self-preservation than agreeing wholeheartedly with his beliefs. I feel that Cassia would be inclined to do the same, even though her heart breaks for all those who were affected.

THOUGHTS ON MUGGLES: She's accepting of them, though doesn't give them enough thought to have a strong opinion one way or another.
THOUGHTS ON BLOOD PURITY: She is perfectly friendly and respectful to everyone, regardless of blood status. She does, however, tend to stick to other purebloods and halfbloods out of habit.
THOUGHTS ON ARRANGED MARRIAGES: She would very much like to marry for love, though she wouldn't be too shocked should her parents decide to arrange a match for her. She just wouldn't be terribly pleased about it lol.
THOUGHTS ON CLASS DISTINCTION: As with blood status, she is friendly and respectful to those of all classes, though she does tend to gravitate more to those of her own social class.

PROGRESS SO FAR:
-- Her older sister's bullying was brought to her attention by Ruby Urquart. It drove a wedge between the sisters as a result, and they had very little communication for the rest of the school year. By the end of May, Cassia realized that she was the last person to be helping Cora, and turned to Madam McClary, Cora's House Matron, for help.
-- She gained enough confidence in her academics to start offering to tutor younger students.
-- Cassia threw a "tea party" for her cousin Octavia Fawley in celebration of her impending debut as Cassia couldn't attend herself.
-- Cassia is now out of school for the summer and is hoping to rebuild the relationship she had with her sister.

IMMEDIATE GOALS:
-- Find a plot for the summer.
-- #PrefectSeason1890
LONG-TERM GOALS:
-- I would like for Cassia to begin shadowing other Herbologist/Florists in preparation for her future, to get a feel for if she would prefer to go the working life route or the more traditional route of a debutante. Or maybe I'll do both, who knows.
