BECAUSE… I tried pimping Merry to myself but Beanie had already taken him! I took Flora instead and that turned out to be the Best decision.

PLANNED DEMISE: Probably an old woman. She doesn’t seem like the reckless nor the particularly unfortunate type.

AMORTENTIA: A variety of scents from home.

I DREAM OF POSTING WITH… Some of the on-board socialites who Flora idolizes.

IN THE MODERN AGE… They’d probably be that little rich girl who goes to private school during the year and goes to equestrian camp during the summers.
DURING THE WAR… Aiding the rebellion, but remaining neutral to the public.

THOUGHTS ON MUGGLES: They are to be pitied for their mundane lives and avoided at all cost.
THOUGHTS ON BLOOD PURITY: She does not actively discriminate, especially where halfbloods and muggleborns are concerned, but she is happy enough to reap the benefits of her heritage.
THOUGHTS ON ARRANGED MARRIAGES: They were common in the previous generation of her family, and half expects that her own marriage will be as a result of one. She sees the appeal and hopes that, if her parents do choose her husband, they choose a kind and handsome one.
THOUGHTS ON CLASS DISTINCTION: She believes she is superior because of her wealth, but that does not stop her from befriending MC children. It is more difficult to be popular while ignoring half the school’s population!

PROGRESS SO FAR:
— Spent the summer before her first year at the Sanditon, where she opened her mind to befriending children outside her class.
— Was in the carriage that hit and killed Georgia Whitledge, and was subsequently told to hush up.
— Was given a pet toad named Afton.
— Went to Hogwarts and was ICly sorted into Slytherin.
— Her father was injured during the Ministry accident.
— Her pet toad died.


IMMEDIATE GOALS: Realize that she is maturing and try to overhaul her life to remove any “childish” attachments.

BECAUSE… She's my heart? haha I wanted to create and develop a character two years before they were to head off to Hogwarts, and she was a really great decision.

CREATION DATE: July 3, 2018
BIRTH YEAR: 1879
PLANNED DEMISE: I haven't at all. She'll likely live to a ripe old age and die either from an accident or natural causes.
HOGWARTS HOUSE: I'm not sure! Definitely not a Ravenclaw, though. I could definitely see Gryffindor or Hufflepuff, but she could be a surprise Slytherin.
BOGGART: Right now: Her Mother trying to hurt her. And maybe Gideon killed by her.
AMORTENTIA: I suppose the smell of Padmore Park after it rains, Honeydukes, freshly carved wood, and cats?
PATRONUS: I could see her patronus being a playful otter.
RESIDENCE: High Street, Hogsmeade, Back of Ollivander's Wand Shop

DIVERGENT FACTION: Dauntless

CLOSEST RELATION: Gideon Ollivander is the only family that she really see at all, so, him.
BEST FRIEND: She doesn't really have a best friend? She makes friends with everyone, but she hasn't truly gotten close enough to anyone to fall into the best friend category. Hopefully, at Hogwarts!
NEMESIS: James Fletcher that kid with the punchable face.
MOST OFTEN POSTED WITH: Billie really gets around, so, um, I'm not sure. Previously, Gideon?
I DREAM OF POSTING WITH… EVERYONE. More incoming first years?

IN THE MODERN AGE… She'd probably be in foster care, I'd imagine. She'd also be free to present however she wants, which she'd love. She'd be going into sixth grade and likely playing all sort of sports.
DURING THE WAR… She'd probably still be getting ready to go to Hogwarts. She lives with a wandmaker, though, soooo they might be in hiding?

THOUGHTS ON MUGGLES: Wizards and muggles really aren't that different. However, she thinks it's sad that they don't get to do magic, too.
THOUGHTS ON BLOOD PURITY: She doesn't care about blood purity.
THOUGHTS ON ARRANGED MARRIAGES: THE WORST. She'd KILL SOMEONE if they tried to force her into a marriage.
THOUGHTS ON CLASS DISTINCTION: She doesn't have many thoughts on it, aside from not understanding why money suddenly makes people act differently. She doesn't treat anyone different, no matter what class they come from. Which, perhaps, isn't such a good thing.

PROGRESS SO FAR: She was cast out by her wizard hating mother, stumbled upon Hogsmeade, and decided to live as a boy. She found her father who took her in. She's made it her mission to meet everyone in Hogsmeade, do all the odd jobs, and cause a bunch of mischief. She gained the best "Uncle" Quincey who owns a damn candy shop. NIFFLERS. She's been learning to fly and play quidditch! She gained a nemesis...Jimmy Fletcher. A lot of things?

Mine for Billie: Someone to play Gideon?
Billie's for Billie: Meet potential school friends. Finally buy a broomstick she's been saving up for for over a year! QWC FUN.
LONG-TERM GOALS:
Mine for Billie: Find a best friend. Determine if she's going to end up living as a girl and all the drama that entails. Fun.
Billie's for Billie: Continue to torment Jimmy Fletcher. Live as a boy forever. Grow up to work with magical creatures or be the next greatest quidditch star. Either join her house quidditch team or participate in club quidditch. Fit in and do okay at Hogwarts. Meet all the friends.

CHARACTER NAME: Ellory Ambrosine Lestrange nee Pendergast
BECAUSE… The Pendergasts were the new cool thing that day, everyone was making one so I wanted to jump in the fun and make a girl character my age.

CREATION DATE: Oh dear I don't remember the exact day and I'm too lazy to hunt it down the original Incantations url. But I'd say somewhere around 2012? 2013? She was 14 when I first made her. EDIT: omg I just checked her old survey and it was 2011!
BIRTH YEAR: 1867
PLANNED DEMISE: Not really? Might be fun if she gets Lestranged, though. Otherwise I can see her get a super ridiculous death because she touched one of Claude's work projects.
HOGWARTS HOUSE: Gryffindor
BOGGART: An inferius. That's from that time she was transported to Mexico because of Ben Crouch's portkey and she got trapped in a temple full of them.
AMORTENTIA: Pastry related smells, chocolate, vanilla, coconut, that sort of vibe
PATRONUS: A small and enthusiastic breed of dog. I did a cbox shoutout thing and Finn wins and it's a pomeranian.
RESIDENCE: I'm leaving the exact street name for Bee to decide, but it's somewhere in Wellingthonshire.

ASOIF/GOT HOUSE: Tully probably
DIVERGENT FACTION: I'm going to say Dauntless because it's my understanding that they're the Gryffindor-y ones. idk shit about Divergent lol

CLOSEST RELATION: Cassius Lestrange and Rosalind Pendergast
BEST FRIEND: Cash Lestrange. Also Annette Fontaine who used to be played by Jenny! <3
NEMESIS: Antigone Lestrange
MOST OFTEN POSTED WITH: Probably Tig tbh
I DREAM OF POSTING WITH… I'd like to thread her with Mel Crouch because she used to have a crush on her hubs and it'd be a fun thread.

IN THE MODERN AGE… She would be a hippie sort of rich girl who's into spirituality and soul cleanses and yoga and psychedelic drugs. She would be doing a fancy-sounding but "useless" degree like Cultural Anthropology or Sociology or Gender Studies. In the end, she'd probably end up becoming a social media activist.
DURING THE WAR… She would be very openly anti Voldemort and fighting against the wizard Nazis.

THOUGHTS ON MUGGLES: She thinks their life must be really boring. She doesn't hate them though.
THOUGHTS ON BLOOD PURITY: She's not a purist but she does have some deeply ingrained beliefs that purebloods are better, so she'd be pleasantly surprised to fight out about a really talented muggleborn.
THOUGHTS ON ARRANGED MARRIAGES: She was always scared of getting betrothed to some terrible abusive old man. She's kind of pleased with the arranged marriage she got, though.
THOUGHTS ON CLASS DISTINCTION: She thinks it's super unfair that some people are poor! But she also has this ignorant view of the world that "~money doesn't bring happiness you guys~~" because she never knew what it's like not to have it.

PROGRESS SO FAR:
IMMEDIATE GOALS: Thread Ellory with her relatives and Tig. More Tig drama. Have Ellory do eccentric stuff.
LONG-TERM GOALS: I want Ellory to have a daughter called Simonetta. I really want one of her children to be a squib so there can be a dramatic plot where she tries to save them from the family wrath.

BECAUSE… Ocean made me do it.

PLANNED DEMISE: Death by Hag (or some other deadly creature, I'm pretty open)
HOGWARTS HOUSE: Gryffindor, with Slytherin leanings.
BOGGART: Her, older, with the spark of her spirit for adventure gone from her eyes.
AMORTENTIA: N/A
PATRONUS: I doubt she'll cast one, but I can imagine her being one of those rare magical creature patronuses.

IN THE MODERN AGE… Still pranking, probably got sent to - and kicked out of - a stuffy boarding school by her mother. Likely still trying to stow away on boats, cause that's fun.
DURING THE WAR… Openly rebellious. Probably disappointing her mother, though her father quietly approves. If not directly taking action, then finding ways to mess with the Death Eaters. She probably wouldn't have survived to the final battle, but she would be spectacularly reckless if she did.

THOUGHTS ON MUGGLES: Approach with caution.
THOUGHTS ON BLOOD PURITY: Is kinda living the 'obliviously privileged' life. But she definitely will be all like 'hey, that's not OK' if someone is treating a HB/MB poorly.
THOUGHTS ON ARRANGED MARRIAGES: Um, LOL, doesn't cross her mind much. Love doesn't either.
THOUGHTS ON CLASS DISTINCTION: Another thing that's she's fairly oblivious to. She's far more focused on magic, creatures, and pranks. Everything else is pretty much ignored.

PROGRESS SO FAR:
IMMEDIATE GOALS: To meet with non-humans that actually speak English (see: vampires, veela, werewolves, hags, centaurs, and maybe a giant if one can be located).
LONG-TERM GOALS: Her goals are to explore the world, learn all she can about the magical creatures in it. Have spectacular adventures.

CHARACTER NAME: Archer Flynn Belby
BECAUSE… Satan. But I love him so much.

CREATION DATE: July 17, 2018
BIRTH YEAR: 1877
PLANNED DEMISE: I think he needs to live until he's older because death would be a mercy from his disaster of a life. Also, he needs to get married and have children because that would be hilarious. He'd make a great Dad, but he'd be the anxious type.
HOGWARTS HOUSE: Ravenclaw
BOGGART: He's afraid of a LOT of things, but maybe a large crowd of people, jeering, and slowly closing in on him.
AMORTENTIA: The smell of a library.
PATRONUS: Unless he gains some bravery/confidence, I don't think he'll ever be able to cast one. However, it would probably be something small and unassuming like a mouse or a hedgehog.
RESIDENCE: London

ASOIF/GOT HOUSE: I guess a Tully.
DIVERGENT FACTION: Amity

CLOSEST RELATION: None of them? Probably his mother?
BEST FRIEND: The closest person he has to a best friend is probably @'Claire Benet', but their relationship is mostly "really fun research partner."
NEMESIS: Nobody? He's a gentle soul. He has a lot of bullies, however.

IN THE MODERN AGE… He'd still be incredibly shy/anxious and likely always reading fantasy novels. He'd probably still be bullied at school. Maybe he'd be seeing a therapist and on medication. I feel like he'd be super into forum rp.
DURING THE WAR… He'd just be hoping not to die? ahaha

THOUGHTS ON MUGGLES: He doesn't mind muggles.
THOUGHTS ON BLOOD PURITY: He doesn't care for blood purity, but he's very careful not to mention that to anyone, just in case.
THOUGHTS ON ARRANGED MARRIAGES: He doesn't like to think about it. It terrifies him to think about ending up in one. Actually, he's terrified to even think about marriage at all.
THOUGHTS ON CLASS DISTINCTION: He figures there's class distinction for a reason. He doesn't think much into it.

PROGRESS SO FAR: He was sorted into Ravenclaw. He blew up a window when trying to find a wand. He witnessed a murder. He had a public panic attack in the Great Hall. He befriended a hedgehog and accidentally aided in a mass breakout. His cousin gave him an experimental potion and caused him to goo all over the damn place. Someone left his underthings all over the common room. He finally made a friend and research partner. Thanks to Florida, he ended up with a terrifying vulture as a pet.

IMMEDIATE GOALS:
Me for Archer: All the disaster.
Archer for Archer: Sell the vulture and get a more suitable pet. Spend the summer researching. Get through the summer without disaster.
LONG-TERM GOALS:
Me for Archer: All the disaster. A close friend. Maybe find a mentor and gain some confidence? Accidentally get Claire murdered. The guilt.
Archer for Archer: Focus on new OWL classes and research. Get in contact with his father. SURVIVE HOGWARTS.

CHARACTER NAME: Madeline Invana Backus
BECAUSE… Arguably Kayte’s fault! She was created for perfecting application purposes!

CREATION DATE: 04-29-2016
BIRTH YEAR: 1870
PLANNED DEMISE: I have several thoughts! The one visiting me most often at the moment is having her get the kiss for murder
HOGWARTS HOUSE: Hufflepuffin!
BOGGART:Herself having taken her own life – hanging from a tree branch, the face, the whole thing…its not good
AMORTENTIA: Spices, the slightly fusty smell of the museum, and a cedery smell
PATRONUS: Hers is an Indian elephant
RESIDENCE: Her parents live above the shop on Highstreet, Anas house is as close to Wellingtonshire as she could get it

ASOIF/GOT HOUSE: Her pb was at one stage Marsella Lannister, but Maddie might be a Tully, although possibly one of the more low key Lannisters, like Kevin. 
DIVERGENT FACTION: Amity probably

CLOSEST RELATION: Magdalena Byrne
BEST FRIEND: she doesn’t really have a played bestie since some of them have come and gone, now Katherine Midford is back it’s probably her! Since it can’t really be @’Handsome Whitledge’ anymore because that is low key awkward but he was probably her school bestie.

IN THE MODERN AGE… She’d be on a gap year back packing around south American in preparation for a degree in International politics and conflict resolution.  Or planning on doing medicine in uni to work for medicine san frontiers

DURING THE WAR… She’d be a volunteer nurse in a nightingale hospital.

THOUGHTS ON MUGGLES: She’s pretty chilled about them
THOUGHTS ON BLOOD PURITY:  It’s stupid
THOUGHTS ON ARRANGED MARRIAGES: In her current mood she is down for one as long as the guys expectations are low and he just wants her money
THOUGHTS ON CLASS DISTINCTION: It seems arbitrary as all hell to her! One day she is the bakers daughter the next day a deb – all because of a fluke of birth.

-Made prefect!
-Low key fell in love with her bestie, his sister worked it out and tried to tell her to stay in her lane!
-Made an impassioned speech about not being good enough for him at a Ministry ball.  They fell into dating because they were kids and that’s what you do! Lots of secret picnics and clandestine letters. 
- She was almost kicked out of school and had to prove she was human
- Her estranged grandfather died and she inherited his estate. 
-She  travelled around Europe and did the season there
-She realised that her guardians are keeping things from her and burning her letters and stuff.  Basically her domestic life is a dumpster fire right now

IMMEDIATE GOALS: Hers: Find a way to get out of Ana’s house

LONG-TERM GOALS: She’d like to be happy but right now I’m not sure what that looks like for her
And I refer back to the how she will die question – because I might do that to her too….

CHARACTER NAME: Cecily Grace Gallivan
BECAUSE… I think I wanted to use Sleepy Hollow Christina Ricci as a PB and 14 year old me thought that she totally looks like a 10 year old. For real, when I was a child myself I used to think that 23 year olds for example look 30 and 14-year-olds 20. I now find it so weird when I see tween characters with PBs in their twenties. xD

ANYWAYS Kayte suggested Chloe Moretz. I also think that she really didn't want me taking Cee and tbh I wouldn't want me too back then. But she gave me a chance and threaded with me even though English REALLY was my second language then and now it's been nearly 10 years since I've made Cee! <3

CREATION DATE: She's my oldest played character. I think it was 2010 or 2011.
BIRTH YEAR: 1870
PLANNED DEMISE: I like the idea of her being murdered by a rivaling Quidditch sponsor.
HOGWARTS HOUSE: Ravenclaw. That's the House she got from the Sorting thread! However, if I was to make her now I'd probably go with Gryffindor or Hufflepuff if I'm being honest.
BOGGART: A werewolf.
AMORTENTIA: Roses, morning due, a hint of her late mother's perfume
PATRONUS: I have no idea omg. I wanna say a reindeer.

IN THE MODERN AGE… She'd be doing a sport since she was little, probably tried out to get in the Olympic team. I wanna say track and field or volleyball. She would then do a degree in Physical Sciences and then a Postgrad in Sports Businesses and work in the sports business. Her family would own a soccer team or shares for Nike or something. She would also briefly do an Insta with workout tips and model for some athletic brand.
DURING THE WAR… She would fight Deatheaters if need be, but generally try to lay low.

THOUGHTS ON MUGGLES: Her mother was a muggle so she doesn't hate them. She wouldn't want to be one, though.

DURING THE WAR… Chill background bad guy. Shows up for the fights and tortures some prisoners to get information but isn't on the front lines with a crush on the Big Bad or anything.

BECAUSE… The Lestranges were the new cool thing and I wanted to be one of the cool kids. I was also obsessed with The Hunger Games (I was 14 okay? >.>) and really wanted to use the girl who played Primrose Everdeen as an actress. This is actually the reason why Seneca is a meta, to justify why I'm using a blonde actress when everyone in the family has dark haired. Then Olive made her blonde mother and there was no reason for her to be a meta. I also no longer even use that PB lol. Basically I was 14 years old and wasn't making mature decisions okay? xD

There's plenty of opportunity for poor people to climb the social ladder, they're just too lazy to make something of themselves and that's why they're poor! Rich people deserve their money because they worked for it so poor people better not complain about the class system because they're just being jealous crybabies.
