BECAUSE… It was firstie season and I've always loved playing Kayte's children.

PLANNED DEMISE: At an old age, from a decease. Unless something happens before that and it's fitting for her to die for plot reasons. Otherwise she'll have a long life and a boring death.
HOGWARTS HOUSE: Gryffindor. She was actually sorted into Hufflepuff via the Sorting threat, but when we moved over I retconned it because she gave me more Gryffindor-y vibes. also I don't love Hufflepuffs as much sorry >.>
BOGGART: Since she's so into Divination, I will say that black dog that symbolizes death.
AMORTENTIA: Rose flavoured Turkish delight; jasmine; berries; the smell of some cake her mother used to make
PATRONUS: She probably won't ever cast one, but it would be a sparrow

CLOSEST RELATION: Delight Urquart who I would love to see played I picture them as having a relationship similar to Meg and Amy's.

I DREAM OF POSTING WITH… I've never actually properly threaded her with Cora Fawley, so her!

IN THE MODERN AGE… She would be a fashion influencer, an artist and a graphic designer. There's these sisters I follow on Insta called nycxclothes and I love them and modern Ruby would totally bully Topaz into doing something like this with her. She'd go to Art School and probably do a thesis on the Harlem Renaissance. I can also totally see her doing tarot card reading videos on Youtube. She'd probably do videos on self help like "How not to care what other people thing" etc.
DURING THE WAR… She'd fight with the good guys.

THOUGHTS ON MUGGLES: They're okay and should be treated with respect. She thinks their life must be really boring though.
THOUGHTS ON BLOOD PURITY: A stupid, made-up concept that shouldn't matter.
THOUGHTS ON ARRANGED MARRIAGES: She's glad her family doesn't do them. She dreams of marrying for love.
THOUGHTS ON CLASS DISTINCTION: It's unfair and wishes there was money for everyone.

PROGRESS SO FAR:

• When I first made Ruby she was a 10-year-old brat. It didn't help that her father was elected Minister of Magic.
  
  
• She went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff (which I retconned). At some point she made the Hufflepuff team as a chaser (which I also retconned). She's really not the Quidditch type tbh.
  
  
• She and Topaz bullied Adelia into not marrying their father.
  
  
• Topaz was turned into a werewolf and Balt stopped being the Minister. This grounded Ruby and helped her mature.
  
  
• Ruby is currently feeling crap about life. She finds solace in art and Divination. She met Savino Zabini who likes the same bizarro crap as her and she'll probably soon decide he's her soulmate.
  

IMMEDIATE GOALS: Get to know Savino better. Have fun at Sanditon.
LONG-TERM GOALS: Work on her self esteem.
