IN THE MODERN AGE… Still pranking, probably got sent to - and kicked out of - a stuffy boarding school by her mother. Likely still trying to stow away on boats, cause that's fun.
DURING THE WAR… Openly rebellious. Probably disappointing her mother, though her father quietly approves. If not directly taking action, then finding ways to mess with the Death Eaters. She probably wouldn't have survived to the final battle, but she would be spectacularly reckless if she did.

THOUGHTS ON MUGGLES: Approach with caution.
THOUGHTS ON BLOOD PURITY: Is kinda living the 'obliviously privileged' life. But she definitely will be all like 'hey, that's not OK' if someone is treating a HB/MB poorly.
THOUGHTS ON ARRANGED MARRIAGES: Um, LOL, doesn't cross her mind much. Love doesn't either.
THOUGHTS ON CLASS DISTINCTION: Another thing that's she's fairly oblivious to. She's far more focused on magic, creatures, and pranks. Everything else is pretty much ignored.

• Befriended a vampire. Vampire who is kinda nuts, so that chick may or may not want to actually eat Claire.
  
• Ran away and stowed away on a boat. For the sake of adventure of course.

• Made friends with the shy-est kid in school.

IMMEDIATE GOALS: To meet with non-humans that actually speak English (see: vampires, veela, werewolves, hags, centaurs, and maybe a giant if one can be located).
LONG-TERM GOALS: Her goals are to explore the world, learn all she can about the magical creatures in it. Have spectacular adventures.
