Some random confessions
#1 - I used to feel very embarrassed to tell people IRL about Charming as a hobby, so I tried to hide it as much as possible. I don't really feel that anymore, especially since one of my coworkers in my team told me that she also used to roleplay, and on a HP forum no less. That being said, I would still feel awkward showing RL people my actual posts, even though my work bestie has said she'd want to read what I've written.
#2 - Following to the above, I mentioned my time as a Charming Moderator as 'work experience' during the interview for a community forum type of support upskilling at my current job. Not as a "Charming was a real job I had" typa lie, but as a "I did this thing when I was a teen which I think kinda gave me experience for this project you're hiring for" TBH, I feel like Charming really prepared me for my current job, because apart from being the reason I'm so fluent in English, some of my old Mod tasks are similar to some of my current work tasks. Or at least in ~vibe, IDK xD
#3 - In my head, I ship Meta with Poppy Sweeting from Hogwarts Legacy, and if I could skip the tutorial beginning, I'd make a playthrough with Meta to get them to interact.
#4 - I feel a bit self conscious that so many of my characters are Lestranges cause I don't want to feel like I have the same character in slightly different flavours, but some of my Lestranges are also characters that feel very comfortable because I've written them so long.
#5 - A part of me would kinda want to start completely fresh with new characters, but it would also feel weird not to play characters like Seneca, or Cee. That being said, I no longer have this thing I had in the past where I wouldn't ever allow certain characters to go inactive, like Seneca for example, cause I'm no longer as attached to them.
#6 - There are some Charming periods and plots that in my heart are a 'Golden Age of Charming' of sorts and I feel nostalgic about them and truly love them. I think one of my biggest loves in this category would be Noah Hatchitt and Magnus Lockhart. NGL I blipped on what Lynn's Lock character was actually called, but this bromance was one of my favourites ever.
From characters that aren't mine, I'd say Cash and Eli because I can remember at least two instances of me telling out of Charming people about this relationship/plot.
