QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco
#17
Aug 22nd, 1890 - Portree Stadium

"HEY-O! And Miss Robbins' goal is successful! Ten points to Britain! A valiant effort on behalf of the Moroccan team though. Wow the British team is lucky to have a skilled flier on their team, but we DO have quite a way to go, don't we? The tides may change...

AND THE QUAFFLE IS LOOSE!"

Lachlan cheered as Robins managed to score the first goal of the game. He smiled cockily to Longbottom as he raced for the nearby bludger. He was more than ready to take aim at the female Moroccan chaser if she gave them any trouble.

Abbas groaned, but didn't let it stop him for a second. He flew off towards their goalposts, hoping to be useful in some way.

MacFusty seemed prepared to have this end if the pitch covered, so Becks headed down the field towards the other bludger. At least it didn't have Fitzgerald bagging on him this match.

D4 -> C3

Grimicing, Meryem yanked her broom up to a stop as her attempted block failed, spinning around to catch the quaffle as it slipped through the rings. Once secured, she threw it towards Nabil wanting to get the quaffle away from the British chaser as soon as possible.
(no movement)

#22
Nabil punched at the air in disappointment when Britain scored. He caught the quaffle that Meryem tossed and started flying down the field.

(D3 -> D4)

#23
Wahbi had the quaffle. A smirk on his face, Lachlan shot the bludger in his direction.

"A successful hit by the strapping Lachlan MacFusty!! Golly it seems the Moroccan's are not having good luck with this match so far. But it seems they are good sports, so there's still a chance for them to pull through!"

Wahil snagged the quaffle and Rufus was quick to follow watching as a bludger hit the poor bloke.

Satisfied with her shot - their keeper hadn't been near enough to stop her - Gus now tracked the Moroccans and Bixby back up the pitch, trying to catch up to see whether Wahbi had clung onto the quaffle against MacFusty's bludger hit.
D1 -> D2

gorgeous set by Lady!

Cash had shot up above most of the action of the chasers, and was mostly darting about the pitch waiting to see that telltale flash of gold.

MJ made this!

Arthur needed to pay more attention. He flew towards the Moroccan goals, hoping the Quaffle would be loose soon.

Jamaica was cursing angrily at his failure to deflect the score of the british woman. He spat at the ground hundreds of feet below them. What a fucking mess! He snarled internally and having made it back to the goals sent back to prowling between them on his broom.

#30
Nabil tried to fly out of the way of the bludger, but it struck him right in the arm that was carrying the quaffle. With a loud hiss, he fumbled a bit, nearly toppled off his broomstick, and promptly lost the ball. With a scowl, the youngster watched it rapidly drop toward the ground.

"Ya Ibn el Sharmouta!*"

He shook his arm out. That was going to bruise right to the bone.

Watching the chaser drop the quaffle Rufus pushed forward and caught the quaffle before it fell all the way to the ground.

Lachlan smiled to himself as the quaffle went flying out of the Moroccan chaser's arms and into his team-mate's. He watched as Bixby flew by with the quaffle, determined to be around if a bludger—or another chaser—came hurdling in his team-mate's direction.

(C4 --> D4)

Amelia Evans Not needed for moderation, but I was curious of the bludgers' positions post-hit? It seems one is still next to Lach on the map :)
