"Gooooooddd afternoon everyone, it looks like we have a most exciting match on our hands!!! My name is Quintin Fairclough and I'll be your announcer for this match -- oh dear me, looks like this round is quite eager as well, I guess we're off!! Hmmm we must introduce everyone before making announcements, I suppose..."
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Abbas al-Benali - August 1, 2020
To say he was excited would have been the understatement of the century. His had had shaking from the moment he mounted his broomstick—not with nervousness, but with excitement.
He took to the skies, and when given the go, he swiped the quaffle from his opponent and headed towards the Brit's goal post.
(C3)
* This is my first match as chaser, too! Please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong <3
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Esteban Zavala - August 1, 2020
Esteban was buzzing with anticipation and excitement as the game began. He stayed near his hoops and kept his gaze drifting over the other players on the field as everyone moved into position.
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Augusta Robins - August 1, 2020
They could do this, Gus told herself - just as the Moroccan chaser swiped the quaffle from out before her. Full of beans, Gus turned tail to keep as much in his way as possible.
C3 -> C4
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Nabil Wahbi - August 1, 2020
Nabil was near to cackling as he kicked off from the ground. He had spent some time before the beginning of the match dropping Bulbadox Powder on a basket of British Team souvenirs that had been laying around, so he was in high spirits.
Flashing a wild grin at his teammates, he took up a position near to Benali who had snatched the quaffle.

(I have never played Charming quidditch, so please poke me if I need to change anything!)
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Abbas al-Benali - August 1, 2020
Question: when moving around the board, can we make a pass after a current move, or do we need to make a pass from the spot we were before the start of the post? For example, I had Abbas in C3. Starting this post, does he have to pass from his current spot, or can I move to D3 and then pass?
Abbas attempted to pass the quaffle to Nabil Wahbi .
(C3 --> D3)
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Augusta Robins - August 1, 2020
Gus swept back in to try and intercept the pass.
C4 -> D3 For passes, players just have to be no more than a square apart, so either way! General rule of play is you can usually move the player one square and do one action in the same post, if that makes sense?
e.g. Gus moving to D3 and then trying to steal the quaffle, sorry, xoxo
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Hassan Sabri - August 1, 2020
Hassan shot Lestrange a grin across the pitch—it was on—before kicking off, expertly poised on his broomstick. The bulk of the match ahead would not concern him: no, his only task was to keep one eye upon his competition and the other out for the tell-tale sparkle of the golden snitch. Let the chasers have his fun—the true chase would be his.
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Nabil Wahbi - August 1, 2020
As Robins caught up to him, he attempted to abruptly turn his broom, not particularly caring if the tail end bumped into her. He reached out, trying to catch the quaffle.

"WELL they certainly didn't waste any time getting into it did they? Look at Al-Benali fast reflexes that chap, well I guess there's a reason why he's on the team isn't there? OOO and it looks like there was a successful interception on behalf of the British team by Augusta Robbins! I guess we're off in the other direction then, aren't we? Here we go!!"

RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Augusta Robins - August 1, 2020
The young 'un - Wahbi, was it? - bumped her with the tail of his broom, but that light brush didn't force her to loosen her grasp of the quaffle, so she shot off between them and started moving back down the pitch towards the other hoops.
D3 -> D2
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Meryem Idrissi - August 1, 2020
Spinning round, Meryem shot after the British chaser, moving to cut in front of the woman to push her off her path towards the goal and see if she could corner Augusta into dropping the ball.
c3 > d2
how physical are chasers allowed to be without getting a fowl? Are steals a thing? if i oopsed let me know. I'm literally writing off my soccer/football experience.
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Hassan Sabri - August 1, 2020
A golden glint in the distance caught his attention briefly before Hassan concluded, with a bit of disappointment, that it was merely a brooch in the audience. He had never yet ended a game in less than ten minutes, and though he always enjoyed a broader chance to show off, it would have been something of a coup in a match of this calibre.
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Augusta Robins - August 2, 2020
No sooner than she had left the other Moroccan chasers behind, the third came barrelling for her, forcing Gus to drop down a few metres to avoid a collision. Swerving a little off course and not having her teammates near enough to back her up, Gus shifted the quaffle under her arm and propelled it as hard as she could towards the leftmost hoop.
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Rufus Bixby - August 2, 2020
Good catch Robbins! Rufus thought as he flew forward to assist his teammate score a goal.
C3 to C2
RE: QWC Match Two: Britain vs. Morocco - Nabil Wahbi - August 2, 2020
Nabil cursed that the quaffle had been intercepted, but his grin didn't falter. He just loved the game. He quick turned and flew closer, hoping that Robins would either miss, or the ball would be intercepted.
