I've read the sheet on vampires, but I wanted to know a more detailed answer so I don't mess things up.

do half vampires get sick if they choose to drink blood? i know they don't have to and they eat normal people food, but you know, elijah sometimes snacks on blood pops and i was wondering if he ate too many or idk drank blood for any reason if he'd get sick or he'd be able to tolerate it.

Nope! I like to think it's actually better for them if they do from time to time, though it's not required to live a good life.

Idk if there's any lore (JKR or Charming or otherwise) supporting this, but it makes sense in my head that half vampires might suffer something like anemia symptoms which would be alleviated/mitigated by ingesting blood.
