Laughing again, Mabel had to concede to his observation. “I find the two go hand in hand more often than not, actually.” She relented, her tone somewhat rueful only since it seemed her patient wouldn’t take offense; he was the one who made the acute observation after all. With her things all gathered, she reached out and tapped the bandage dressing lightly. “Now, remember what I said. Try not to move too much within the hour, and you should be fit as a fiddle by the end of the day.”
