Josie Jones is your average working class ministry secretary. She goes to work, she is respectable, and she has no ideas above her station. She does what she's told, and she just gets on with it.

Josie is actually a very goofy and silly person, but you have to know her pretty well to get to that level with her. To people she doesn't know, she's more reserved. Despite this, she is still a smiley and happy person. Part of this is an act, but it's mostly genuine. Josie constantly feels the need to people-please. Which is partly because she genuinely loves helping people, and partly because she has no idea how to say no.

Basically, Josie's brain is split between actually being a nice person, and forcing herself to be a nice person because if she feels if she set personal boundaries then she would no longer be a nice person.

Having worked at Hogsmeade hospital for the last 14 years, he's not going to stop doing that anytime soon. Besides, he enjoys helping people too much. Perhaps there is a way he can use his money to help people... (read: he is 100% going to do that).

Although happy and sweet, Bertie does not have much of a sense of humour. He is extremely well meaning, and wants to make the world a better place - even if he does get a bit preachy about it sometimes.

Gertrude Baker has achieved her dreams. She wanted to be a lawyer - she recently was promoted to being a lawyer in the department of magical law enforcement. She wanted to lift her family out of poverty - her family now lives in a large home in Irvingly. Whatever she sets her mind to, she does it and she gets it. She is steadfast and stubborn and knows her own mind. Sometimes too much, refusing to hear others' opinions.

Soon her life is going to be uprooted. After her wedding, she will move out of her family home and move to Bartonburg (yes, Bartonburg!). At least she will still have her job and some continuity to keep her sane.
