What: GLEE Fundraising Performance & Banquet
Who: Ophelia Devine to host. Invitees:
— Respectable MC/UC who have purchased tickets.
— a few WC beneficiaries of GLEE & one or two guests (chaperones)
— maybe a few WC alums of the GLEE program + one guest
Where: The Hogsmeade Ballroom
Why: To raise funds for GLEE: Girls Labor & Employment Endowment. The fund is available upon application to Hogwarts aged girls who are financially unable to either attend or continue at Hogwarts, and sponsors them through an appropriate apprenticeship in a respectable feminine profession, such as seamstressing. The fund will also help find placement for girls who desire it.
When: April 20th

For a modest ticket price, guests are invited to attend a performance of a traveling European dance troupe, followed by a cocktail hour and banquet. Guests who are inclined to spend more can purchase front row seats to the dance performance, a 'backstage tour' of sorts where they can meet the performers, or seats of honor/first service during the banquet (or any combination of those things). A selection of beneficiaries of the program will be in attendance to be paraded around during cocktail hour to try and win over more donors for the charity. All proceeds for the evening will benefit GLEE.
