MCAB | REP 6+ | DEBUT

What: Dorothea Twycross' Debut Ball
Who: People who know Dot & general MC society. UC folks might receive an invite if there's any chance they regularly interact with Mr. Twycross, Professor Theodosia Twycross, or one of her siblings, but it's not like all of UC society got an invite. (Eg: if you're UC and want to be here you can easily make up an excuse to attend but it's not trying to cater to UC)
Cost: It is customary for those who know the family to bring a bouquet.
Where: Hogsmeade Memorial Ballroom
Why: Dot turned 21 which is not QUITE too late to debut, and Mama really thinks there's no reason she can't have a career and a family too. Dot is less convinced and may pull a few Eloise Bridgerton style disappearing hijinks throughout the event.
When: 23 April

A modest Coming Out with the standard features of a greeting line, refreshments table, dance floor, and more mismatched bouquets than you can shake a fan at. Of note, Dot is a charming conversationalist but a somewhat clumsy dancer, may offer witty backhanded compliments to men who are too assertive for her tastes, and at two or three points throughout the evening can probably be spotted sneaking off into corners to gossip with friends.

Cost: No, Caroline would be a terrible hostess if she charged a cost for her dinner party

Why: Caroline wants to play hostess before she is too far into her pregnancy and after the past month's drama she feels this is needed.

Fallin, however, totally needed a setting for another awkward dinner.
When: The evening of Saturday, April 30

It will be your typical dinner party, with cards and conversation following dinner.
