Who: People who know Dot & general MC society. UC folks might receive an invite if there's any chance they regularly interact with Mr. Twycross, Professor Theodosia Twycross, or one of her siblings, but it's not like all of UC society got an invite. (Eg: if you're UC and want to be here you can easily make up an excuse to attend but it's not trying to cater to UC)
Cost: It is customary for those who know the family to bring a bouquet.

Why: Dot turned 21 which is not QUITE too late to debut, and Mama really thinks there's no reason she can't have a career and a family too. Dot is less convinced and may pull a few Eloise Bridgerton style disappearing hijinks throughout the event.
