So you are all probably aware that I have had a wanted ad for Nicholina Dippet, Ophelia's sister, basically forever. I think I put that up immediately after I made Ophelia and the ad has been tweaked since then but never removed, because I want her super bad. So why am I posting about this now?
Because my bby girl is getting married this month, and happy married couples are #themostboring, and I refuse to lose Ophelia to boring married life. She's going to need some DRAMA in the coming months, and so I would really, really love to have these characters played temporarily over the summer. Everyone has more free time over the summer, right?
In an ideal world I'd have all three of them to plot with (Nicky, the Local, and the Dutchman) but I think we could also create a pretty sweet, dramatic plot with two (Nicky/Dutchman or Nicky/Local) depending on how things go.
This would normally be the part where I say "And I'm willing to trade! Throw your ads at me!" but unfortunately for Real Life Reasons ™ I'm very strictly sticking to ten characters, and my roster is already full. More than full, actually, because I had to send Topaz and Brannon on vacation when we migrated over here. So I can't offer you characters. What I can offer you is plots. Delicious, delectable plots.
Want to do some hurling? I'd let you pick both characters involved (yours and mine) and commit to a minimum of three threads, on any time table that you prefer. So long as you're staying relatively on top of the plot with Ophelia, I'll make these threads my priority any time I'm online to post. I can't guarantee romance will emerge from this, but three threads is enough time to get some kind of relationship, whether it's a ship-ship, a hateship, friendship, rivalry, etc. Three threads is all it took to earn Zelda and Alfred their ship button, and I think that's all it took for Thomula to start sleeping together, so it's a lot of development space. xD Any of my characters are game for this, though if you're angling for romance some are more likely to bite than others (Lock, for instance, would gouge his own eyes out before he'd ever be unfaithful to Ruth xD)
"I've been looking for an X..." Have a lonely plot that doesn't seem to be getting any traction? Have a great idea for one of your characters that you haven't posted up because you think it would only work with a really dedicated plotting partner? Throw your ideas at me and I'll see what I can do to make one of my current characters fit. Obviously, some ideas will be easier for me to work with than others, but I have a very versatile character set, so with some mild compromising I should be able to cover any of your needs (barring students looking for other students). If you throw me an idea and don't like my proposed compromise, you're under no obligation to take my wanted.
"I'd love to X, but it doesn't quite work." I'm open to some minor retconning of my characters (within reason) to facilitate your plots, so if you want to do something but there are some difficulties involved, let me know what they are and we'll see what we can do!
