History: Martine is the firstborn of her pureblood family. Their father passed away when she was eleven, leaving their family with no heir. Martine's mother, Elouise, was heartbroken by the loss, but determined for her children to live happily regardless. The family fortune has declined not insignificantly in the years leading up to and after Corvus' death; Martine knows her family's best hope is in her securing a marriage.
Personality: Martine is booksmart and shy by nature. Recently debuted in the social scene, her younger sibling has helped her to get out of her shell more, but only somewhat. Tends to laugh a little too much at jokes. Earnest and unmalicious. Passive to a fault.

Martine closed the door behind herself, then walked to Del's bedside with a quickened pace. Delphinia groaned and turned to face her. "What is it now, Marty?" Martine produced a letter from inside her robes. "I need you to read this. Now."
