March 20th, 1890 My Dearest Freya.
It has been weeks since I last received a letter from you. How is a mother supposed to be content in the knowledge that their child is safe without reassurance in the form of an owl? I assume you have not perished, or I might have read about it in The Daily Prophet.
Do indulge me. What have you been occupying your time with now that you are back in London? Are you to be hosting or attending any parties?
I terribly miss your company, but I understand the duty you have to your husband, despite his rather unpleasant temperament.
Do write back. I miss you so. I hope the next time I see you isn't beyond the grave.
All of my love,
Your most loyal mother
