HELLOOOO as some of you may know my life. Exploded? In the last couple of months-- good in some ways, bad in others, but 100% chaotic and I have dropped the ball all over the place and NOW I need to salvage my characters/plots in time for the oncoming AC! Because I would like to stay, and keep my precious children.

So here are the characters I need to piece back together! Please either reply to this thread or DM me on Discord if you have threads you'd like to do with them, OR threads I have accidentally abandoned in the madness that you would be down to resurrect!

Olive Norris - My fourth year Hufflepuff! An amnesiac with no background to speak of, dutiful and reserved. She is an introverted, private creature, but I would love to build her some long-lasting friendships! And maybe build some drama for her at school!

Ariana Dumbledore - Baby Seer! She's an odd one, traumatized, and contained to Godric's Hollow, so finding plots with her has been... difficult. And I will cry if I lose her! So. Any youngsters whose parents might visit Godric's Hollow? Anyone want to be friends?

Eilish McCarthy - My first year Hufflepuff! All bubbles and sunshine and just a little bit spoiled-- she's got that baby-of-the-family syndrome. I'd love to find her some friends in her year!

Ellen Ilkin - What happens when you've been taught your whole life to be proud of being a Muggle and then it turns out that, surprise, you're actually a witch, and now you're functionally homeless because your family lives in the part of town where witches cannot live, and you have to find yourself a place to live while also coping with your first year at Hogwarts? Anxiety. That's what. Anyone want to be friends with my poor Muggleborn Slytherin?

Hauke Bauer - A laid-back Durmstrang alumni, Professor of Magical Theory at Hogwarts, half-heartedly seeking a lady to court in spite of a wealth of gender-related complications on that front. I'd love to find some courtship opportunities for them, and also perhaps some students looking to dig into more advanced spellcraft/magical theory? Anyone want some private tutoring?

Prometheus Pomfrey - Death-obsessed Unspeakable introvert? Bisexual mad-scientist disaster? Someone give him some dark-magic friends.

Teodora Flores - My lovely flower. My absence meant this season was a bust for her, oops, and I'd love to get started really hurling her!

Titania Applegate - Former mean-girl turned curiosity by a family curse she can never speak of to anyone! Someone should totally be mean to her, like she would have when she was just a pretty little thing with no problems. Someone should also totally court her.

Cadogan Glynn is a year above Olive, but he's awkward and quiet, so they could be friends?

Drusilla Pettigrew is into dark magic, secretly, and is also a bit of a mean girl, less secretly. Thread with either Prometheus or Titania?

Ezra Applegate could also be of interest to either of them as an Unspeakable (Prometheus) or cousin (Titania) or even as technically hurlable (Teodora).

And then Don Juan Dempsey had a thread at Titania's debut if you wanted to do any kind of revival or follow up. He's technically a bachelor so could also thread with Teodora in that capacity.

I have Mason Skeeter Ramona Pendergast Tennyson Halstead and Fiona McCarthy as my Hogwarts crew! All generally pretty open for new things, Mo would be especially kind to Ellen I think!

Sloane Bixby is close in age to Teodora and Titania! She missed out on her seventh year because of an accident but gets he social outcast thing like Titania. I've also got several mc gents available for hurling!

Prometheus is closer in age to a lot of my ministry gents, but they're all sort of normal and boring lol. Angie Swan just started working for accidents and catastrophies recently after a long stint as a cursebreaker so she knows quite a bit about dark stuff, but doesn't dabble in it herself.

You're right, I bet Cadogan and Olive would get along! As well as anyone can when Olive's initial reaction to people is to ice them out with polite non-conversationalism. Perhaps they both chose the same hiding spot for studying?

And I bet we could have some real fun with Dora and Idris! I bet they'd be friends, and I bet they would clash. You know, the sort of friendship that frequently dissolves into bickering and then is mended again? (Maybe you can turn Dora more away from duty, who knows!)

Re: Sloane & Titania, they would have known one another for sure, Sloane was a year ahead and in Gryffindor. I don't think they would have gotten along much at the time and Sloane was very much wrapped up in her own drama her last year at school (her 6th). Now might be a different story though! We should try and toss them together and see what happens!

My most plausible MC gents are Alvin Bixby, Noah Farley (though he's much too young to do anything official), & Tobias Ollivander. I have more, but they're rough matches at best lol.

I'm down for Mo & Ellen, we can also squeeze in something for Eilish & Fiona. I started something a while back we can revive or do something more recent, if you like, now that they're home for the holidays!

Okay! Sloane's working at the zoo in Irvingly these days, is that somewhere she'd go or should I start something in town?

AC & Back to term are the same day (January 4th), I feel like it's probably safe to pre-date something, like start it now and set it for the 5th/6th of January! Why don't you start that one since you need to post her and I'll start Sloane/Titania, just say where!
