June 4, 1892
Dear Miss CornerI am not sure if you remember me but we had met in the previous year when you attended an Irvingly event. I am sorry it took over a year for me to write to you. Perhaps you don't even remember who I am. We had shared a dance and you expressed an interest in attending more Irvingly things.
I am afraid I have no excuses other than being rather shy and being uncertain which events might appeal to you.
If you still had the same desire to enjoy Irvingly events, we are having another Spring Celebration. Which makes sense, I suppose, since it is an annual event. At any rate, it is usually hosted in mid May but circumstances have seen it extended to June the 18th. I wondered if you might like to attend as my guest.
