Whether or not someone wants to make a new character, have a current character make an impulsive decision, or this is a board NPC and every existing character is just reacting - specifically Ruskin, Darlington, and board lawyers. I'm doing an interest check if anyone wants to actually go along with this? Could also give someone further excuse to (temp?) make Martin Ruskin for concerned parent of the year. This could either be before or after the trial, and could possibly be after the wedding - should said wedding be allowed. Can I get an interest check from anyone?

I had assumed Acadia is to survive I'll start working on the character if me playing it works for you. Whether he ends up arrested or killed later on, I'm fine with it. If he's not caught, just means I have a baddie ready to help out in future nastiness.

I should say! This was a joke! and could super backfire for Acacia - if part breeds are not considered human for the purposes of a marriage license - that could be relied on as precedent to make using the spells on half breeds legal.
Just thinking like a lawyer here - that is definitely the sort of the logic leap an unsympathetic judiciary could make,
