Creature Healer at Podmore Zoological Gardens
A new face in Irvingly, Sholto is very mysterious… This is completely unintentional on his part; he just doesn’t want to tell people about his past – aside from his travels – or about his biological family or anything too personal… Okay, he can see where the mysteriousness comes from but really he’s just another working class fellow, trying to do what he loves and live his life happily. Y’know, what anyone wants.

• Coworkers || Sholto loves all magical creatures; they’re his passion in life and he couldn’t be happier at his job at the zoo. He tries to get along with his coworkers and boss because he’s experienced what happens when you don’t… He also tries to stay strictly professional with these same people, because he’s seen what can happen when you get tangled up intimately with the people you work with.
  
  
• Making Friends? || Sholto may be an introvert but he’d never turn down a friendly face; he’s gullible and trusting despite his past and is looking to make friends – the appropriate kind, that is… Though, really, all you have to be is a man. He doesn’t discriminate between classes or blood statuses. Honestly he’s just trying to be one of the boys
  
  
• Hurls || Sholto is really only into men, but is aware that being open about this in Victorian English society would kill his reputation; that being said, though, he has zero interest in women. He can’t even fake it; he’s not really looking to marry, though he does fall under the eligible bachelor category. Is terrified from past experiences that, if he does get into a new relationship, his secret will come to light and ruin his life all over again. That being said: 18-30 is his age range – I am open to a woman trying to “bag” him or some young man taking an interest. he deserves to get a break at some point but who knows when that’ll be
  
  
• Fellow Travelers || Sholto loves to talk about his travels; he’d love to compare notes with people from outside of England and/or also well-traveled, though! Maybe over a butterbeer?
  
  
• Fellow Seers || Sholto is not open with the fact he’s a seer but he doesn’t try to hide it either. He’s okay with comparing notes with other seers, it gives him a sense of community, or with trying to help fledgling seers if/when he runs into either of them. He finds his gift of sight super embarrassing and dumb as well as irrevelant, though, so be warned. What he might not realize is if word gets around people might start bugging him about their “soulmate” lol

Tycho Dodonus is a fellow seer who is rather accepting and is openly fluid in his gender expression. Less so with his pansexuality.
Owain Edwards would have been his housemate & yearmate. Probably would find something vaguely familiar but would hardly expect the 'girl' he briefly knew in school to be turning up as a man so obviously would assume he's a new acquaintance. xD
Philip Aymslowe & Josiah Rohlwing both reside in Irvingly. Philips pretty friendly (and bisexual) and Josiahs super shy.

I have other potential connections but these were the most relevant, I felt!

Barnabas Beck loves stories and sharing them over drinks! Although he loves sharing his own more to be showboaty. He also gets the creeps a bit from seers, and while not actively one to say anything out loud, if he knew he was standing next to a seer he'd quickly take a step away for a bit more distance and comfort.

Reuben Crouch is an Irvingly resident and did a lot of traveling before he settled down. He mostly avoids the zoo because multiple ex girlfriends work there :P But they could interact around town, Ben is generally pretty friendly and he's always got drinks.

Henrietta Cartwright was a Hufflepuff near him in school but the odds of her willingly associating with a WC man are slim to none, unless she was hiring him for something xD

J. Alfred Darrow is a globetrotter and a tad infamous for it. He lives at the Sanditon so they likely wouldn't interact often but if you're interested in doing something we could make it work! He's also way older than Sholto though.

I have three men who are interested in men but two of them are emotionally unavailable and one of them is deeply closeted - if you'd still like to give it a go I'm up for whatever xD

I don't know if Sho would immediately remember Owain-- that 'girl' avoided a lot of boys her age cuz her family was pressuring her to start picking a future husband while she was struggling with revealing her true self. That said, I would love Owain and Sholto to become friends and then, suddenly, Sholto remembers they were house/yearmates. But now they're really good friends and Owain is such a good guy but the whole time Sholto is worried he might do something to remind the other man too much of "Siofa". Would definitely be interesting xD
I would just love Sho to become friends with all these guys, ngl xD I could see Sho taking a bit more confidence in who he is from watching Tycho and I just love Phillip and Josiah's profiles.

Technically Sydney Podmore is the current owner after his cousin kind of up and left to go travel the world. XD

basically I can help with all the zoo questions! Lol

I can throw Gus Lissington at him. He's head over heels in love with another man (read as: he's been in love with Basil since he was 17 and always will be lol) but they're not together yet, so even a short fling or whatever could work, if you're interested. He lived for travelling across the globe and became a curse breaker for 10 years, although now he's back and the new DADA professor at Hogwarts. He's really, really nice, so I mean... I feel like they could be friends lol.

Sho is really afraid of someone from his past recognizing him but is also fully aware that avoiding people for no good reason is very sus; so he just tries to act natural... which often times isn't lol. Thread-wise: maybe Sho is in Hogsmeade at the Three Broomsticks, winding down after a long work-week and the two run into each other? (que Sho being like... huh, he looks familiar) I can do the starter if you'd like!

Sho likely does remember Mr. Camichael; "Siofa" wasn't well known for her Sight in Hogwarts (it was so embarrassing and gross to her then that she'd rather have died then have most ppl know) but no doubt she went to him as the Divination Professor for advise! One of Sho's fonder memories of his school years <3 Where is Elliot staying nowadays? Could do a past thread where the two run into one another during Sho's travels

Would love a thread with fellow disaster boy Benjiman, though, too -- we could decide between him being a friend or hurl after the first thread if you want? Could do something involving Benji being constable: Sho getting a bit roughed up by someone, knocked over by someone running by/away from Benji, or something like that. <3

For travelers, I have Somersby Fudge who just got back from 2 and half years of traveling. 2 of those years in Eygpt. He lives in Irvingly and is a Curse Breaker.

For hurls I have Felix Prewett who is a reporter and thus can be anywhere needed.
