March 24th, 1891
Dear Mr. E. Macmillan,There are many sentiments I wish I could put in this letter to you but I cannot in good conscience allow myself to do so.
It is my understanding that you will be able to guess at why I am writing this letter and so I shall not delve into the matter further.
These letters must cease, our familiarity must end; for the good of all involved.
I should never have encouraged your correspondence, it was wrong at the time and it is even more so now. I apologize for having not written this letter to you sooner.
It pains me to ask but I would be most gracious if you would please return my letters to me before the week is out.
Sincerely,
Mrs. N. Malfoy
Mrs. N. Malfoy
