Welcome to Charming, where swirling petticoats, the language of flowers, and old-fashioned duels are only the beginning of what is lying underneath…
After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1895. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.

Did You Know?
Did you know? Jewelry of jet was the haute jewelry of the Victorian era. — Fallin
Hermia was perfectly placed, ready inches away, but little Miss Bell had decided she was ready to make her mark. Hermia leaned in harder, to close the gap, hoping to catch the quaffle and (forgive her) ruin the younger Gryffindor's day. She could be friendly after her team one the scrimmage.
Catching the quaffle, unless Maddy managed to intercept Amelia Evans

"OUCH! That has to hurt — looks like Amin's bludger has made contact with Selwyn's knee, dear me a broken kneecap that can't be pleasant. And looks like Bell suceeds in intercepting the quaffle!!"
Cammie cursed to himself as his quaffle was snagged, and by none other than his step-sister. "Bugger off, Bell!" he shouted, a wide smile across his face.
It was then he noticed Selwyn. Large and intimidating as he always tried to seem, there was no hiding the pain he was in. He grimaced. He wanted to think he felt bad that Selwyn had been injured, but he really was dreading the inevitable guilt-tripping he'd be in for once the match ended. How long would it be before he heard something along the lines of "You can't say anything bad about me; the only reason I'm hurt is because I took a bludger for you"? (As if the beater was doing it out of the kindness of his own heart—ha!)
He opted to ignore the beater altogether, making the turn to chase after Maddy. He'd get that quaffle back if he had to run her into the ground (in the most friendly way, of course. Sibling rivalry, right?)
She grinned broadly as Maddy snagged the ball from under the hands of Cam and Calla's newly minted captain. Still, even if she wasn't a fan of Selwyn, she did wince as the buldger crushed into his knee cap. Still she couldn't dwell on it long as Cam took off after his step-sister.
Her grin shifted back and she took off, hoping to use her body as a barricade to keep Cam off Maddy long enough for her to score.
Biting back a curse, Hermia pulled out of her dive to give chase to Bell. The little thing was quick, but that was the last of the compliments the little Gryffindor was getting today. Joining Gillenwater in the chase, Hermia set her sights on the Quaffle in Bell's arms and aimed her broom for her, attempting to steal the quaffle.
Cad couldn't help the yell in pain that escaped him when he felt his knee cap give way! Oh man! The pain forced the air from his lungs and he thought for a moment he might be sick! But after a few deep swallows the pain found a place to live in his brain where it had conceded to the effects of adrenaline. Although he was sure to wear his 'professional' Quidditch injury like a badge of honour
All that and they had managed to intercept the quaffle anyway! He cursed loudly as he hit the bludger towards Bell
Staying where he is - Bludger to Madeline Bell - Amelia Evans
It felt like it had been ages since she'd had the chance to fly and really let loose and they were playing with the wee English babies... consequently she wasn't really taking the game as seriously as she ought - and knew that Aziza would probably have words with her afterwards but.... Aziza was on the other team so it wasn't as if her lack of seriousness would affect her at all.
She knew she ought to be more serious since she didn't get the chance to fly against Aziza that much but.... her mind wandered as she perused the pitch for the snitch.
That was until the bludger(s?) started to come her way. It was Ashiq. Of course it was Ashiq. That bugger.
"Even though the pain of that bludger to the kneecap, Selwyn manages to thwack that bludger straight back at Bell, the Red team's chaser! Too bad it seems to have completely missed her! Can't blame him too much, that pain must hurt. Looks like Amin tried to do the same thing to the Green team's seeker, Karim! The bludger looks to have made contact but didn't really have any sort of effect on the seeker!"

Nelson watched in slight awe at Amin's hit towards the seeker, though it didn't seem to have done any damage to her! Once he had remembered to stop hovering like a spectator, Nelson leant forwards and headed towards the bludgers across the field.
C4 -> B3 psst nelson has an apparent twin left in D4 as well
Maddy lowered herself slightly on her broomstick but needn't have bothered—the bludger she'd noted coming her way soared entirely over where her head had been as the chaser continued her way towards the goal hoops.
The chaser took careful aim and then shot the quaffle towards the goal hoops. It was not her first time shooting against Mr. Montgomery and surely would not be the last!
