The quaffle was down at their hoops and it looked like the seekers had finally caught sight of something, but all Tyb could do at the moment was keep flying towards the melée.

"It appears that in addition to being unable to hit a bludger effectively, Longbottom has forgotten how to fly- a strong gust of wind sends Prince Charming whipping into the nearest goalpost- that looks like it's going to leave a dislocated shoulder or something because that does not look right. He better hope Lestrange catches the snitch soon.

Speaking of! It appears the Hawaiian seeker has spotted it and takes off after it, Lestrange joins the chase! He edges her out and just narrowly misses the snitch and it disappears straight up and into the fray.

Meanwhile Kokoikikane takes aim for Pettigrew, but that is also a miss - I suggest whichever team moves on from here do some serious target practice.

There's action everywhere- Kaimana recovers the quaffle and takes a shot- this time manages to score!. Zavala makes a valiant attempt, but nobody is perfect!

This was certainly not one of his better days, but Ko wasn't willing to give up yet. His team was in the lead despite all of the awful bludger hits, and if he could just try and keep them there long enough for the seeker to catch the snitch, they'd still have a shot at the rest of the season.

Neither the bludger nor the two English chasers had gone far, so sending one their way was no difficult task.

Stars exploded in Beckett's vision as he was caught off guard and blown back into the goalpost by a strong gust of wind. His bad shoulder took the brunt of the force and he heard that distinctive POP of dislocation and he howled in pain.

Well if he hadn't been useless before.

Gritting his teetch, Becks took a deep breath and tucked his bat under his useless arm to hunt down the nearest bludger.

Tyb heard Longbottom hit the hoops behind him and grimaced when the commentary confirmed it. Well, what an excellent pair they were. A performance for the ages. Since he was closer, he swept in to try and defend their chasers from the bludger, and maybe even hit it back at the Hawaiian beater.

(He wasn't holding his breath.)
