"It is." She confirmed with a smile. The greenhouse had been a wedding gift from Daniel, back when their marriage was one of hope. Since then, Freya made good use of the elongated structure, growing variants of plants she might otherwise never get to experiment with. "I mainly use the greenhouse to grow potion ingredients, you'd be surprised how much dittany St. Mungo's needs."

"Oh, I can only imagine," August said. Dittany was, from what he remembered, rather versatile - and St. Mungo's could always use the help. "I would love to see it sometime," he added. It was the truth, but August had not really thought the request through beyond the barest bones of it.

The proper thing to do would be to invite Mr. Echelon-Arnost to dinner with both she and Daniel. Her husband wasn't one to appreciate her being alone with another man, even if nothing untoward was to happen. But, if Daniel were to join them his mood would certainly sour the easygoing conversations she'd had thus far with Mr. Echelon-Arnost. If anything, his negativity might ruin whatever friendship was blooming here.

It would have to be a weekday afternoon, she decided. A day where she was positive Daniel would be out of the house and they would be left with just the house elves and servants...but, what would he think of that? Freya wasn't hoping for anything more than a friendship with the progressive man. Would he think her flirting if they were left alone? Would she have to hire a chaperone for the afternoon? Merlin, she was confused.

Before she could allow too much time to pass and make the air between them awkward, Freya nodded in agreement. "Of course. That would be lovely. You could bring Lysander, too." It wouldn't be unproper if a child was sitting with them, would it?

In the brief period of time before her response, August of course had a moment to think of all the reasons this was probably a bad idea, or at least a mediocre one, in terms of propriety. They were friendly acquaintances, they talked at balls, that was it. They had exchanged a lot of letters. That didn't necessarily mean anything. She was going to say no, and that was going to, of course, ruin everything.

But she agreed, as long as he brought Lysander. "I can do that," August said cheerfully, "Sometime next week?"

She smiled warmly. It would be nice to introduce a child to her greenhouse, to see their wonder in a way she only dreamt of. "Next week will work." The Season was only just kicking up, after all. The Selwyn's social calendar wasn't yet overwhelmed.
