I hope this letter finds you well. I cannot begin to imagine all the details that go into running an institution such as Hogwarts, but expect it to take quite a masterful hand; the Board of Governors are, indeed, fortunate to have found someone as capable as you to captain it!
I shall keep this brief so as not to distract you from your work with trivialities: I have not yet heard back on whether you shall be joining us for Easter dinner; Mrs. Black has been impossibly vague on the subject, and I really must set my housekeeper to ordering before all the good geese are gone! I can imagine that keeping the society of children would be quite exhausting, and so hope the invitation appears to you as welcome holiday from the scores of pupils in your care—bar my stepson, of course, but a less bothersome boy I never did meet!
I await eagerly your acceptance of our invitation. I am sure my dear husband would more than welcome the masculine company, for he shall be terribly outnumbered otherwise.
Warm regards,
