"I'll let you know if I need to go travel for the Peruvian vipertooth." Nigel chuckled, but he was serious. If Harry wanted to do a little traveling, Nigel could probably swing at least the travel for him. They always needed some sort of healer on the trip, so if Harry could provide the potions, he might get the opportunity.

Fortunately, they both had some time before they were expected to settle down. "I just hope they don't try to send me to Australia, I hear it's damn deadly down there." Lots of creatures, both magical and muggle, that would easily end his life by just the briefest of encounters.

Harry smiled. "Do that," he said. "It's probably more interesting to travel with company, anyway." Harry really wasn't built to be solitary in general, of course.

He snorted. "I've heard the same," he said. "I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to visit myself." Harry had never claimed to be particularly brave anyway--he had, rather infamously, sworn off subjects at Hogwarts that were generally considered to require a certain level of bravery to be any good at them. He'd flunked his DADA OWL and hadn't bothered to take Care of Magical Creatures at all, as the most obvious examples.

Nigel made a point to broach the subject with his supervisor ahead of time. If he traveled again, he could suggest an experienced potioneer to accompany them. It would work out well, he thought. Everything was paid for too, accommodations all set up, transportation supplied. It was not terrible.

"I think I would try to pass that one off to someone else," Nigel thought Australia was a bit too much. He would take the Peru gig, if it came up. "I haven't gone anywhere terribly far," well the China trip was a bit of a haul, but the rest had been in Europe for the most part. "It would be interesting to go to the southern hemisphere. I can't quite imagine the heat though." Nigel rather thought he was a cold weather creature.

"Neither can I," Harry said. "But I suppose there must be something to warmer climes or not so many people would live there." Harry couldn't truly imagine living anywhere else long term, but he supposed he'd say that no matter where he lived. Still, sometimes he thought he wouldn't mind the chance to miss the colder weather.

Milder, certainly." The south of France, the Mediterranean, but Nigel couldn't go any warmer than that. He drained the rest of his pint and set it on the table. He ought to get going so he could get this part on the telescope before he headed home. Hopefully it wouldn't take too long. "I should probably get this to the observatory and get home," he determined with a tired sigh. "If you're going to make this a regular thing, let me know, and we can catch up again." Apparently he had a social life now. "I'll let you know if anything pops up for travel." He added as he left a few coins on the table for his pint and a tip for Morgan.
